No Guilt Trips Allowed.
There are times in our lives when all else has to be put aside and we focus on a more important thing or person. This last few weeks I have had to settle the sale of my mothers house, which meant lots of cleaning up and preparation for the sale, chatting with agents and solicitors and other members of family. At the same time I helped my daughter move from a very large house to a smaller one and now I have my 3 year old grand daughter staying. She is an absolute delight but very full on. " Watch me Nanny, watch me!" is heard constantly in our house at the moment.
These times happen to all of us and we should not feel guilty about them. It is a case of giving priority to who or what is most important in our lives. As I am preoccupied with other priorities I notice my WA rating go down , but that's OK, I am doing something far more important. I am spending my time with a beautiful grand daughter.
She is a real performer and I have no doubt that one day you will see her on the stage, but right now she is a bundle of energy needing to be constantly entertained or to be entertaining. These are some of the precious moments life has to offer and we all need to embrace them fully. Time spent with a child is never wasted. Time spent with a freind is never wasted either. So throw off the guilt trip and enjoy the time.
What I want to emphasize is that we do not need to feel guilty if something or someone else demands more of our time. A friend once said to me that she tries to treat each person as if it is the very last time she will see them. That may seem a little pessimistic but really its just about our attitudes when we are with another person. We need to make that time count and if Wealthy Affiliate has to take a back seat for awhile then so be it.

So nice to read:) I just wrote a blog about priority #1 has to be happiness, everything else, if you have time for it, has to wait.
Enjoy your granddaughter around! I am going to be very, very happy
Woooo I see you are having great fun with your delight. I was laughing while reading because I was just imagining the drama both of you are acting right now.
Wishing you much more fun.I'm happy for you
Thank you Stunning Bell, It's 9;30 pm and she has finally gone to bed so now I can do a little on WA before tiredness sends me to bed too.
She is a lot of fun and has quite a personality. She will be with us till the end of January then back to the Philippines so it is valuable time.
A dear wee girl. So adorable. It's important to enjoy every moment of our young ones as childhood passes so quickly.
Thanks for sharing, Judy :)
Thank you Valerie, she is a wee precious one. I love every moment we have. Do you have grand children too?
Yes I do have grandchildren, One boy and one girl. They are wonderful but much older than your wee one.
She is my youngest grand child, the others are from 4 to 24 we also have a 15 month old great grand child.
They are all the joy of my life. Our eldest grand son has just bought his first home and moves in tomorrow.
The two trips no one can afford: ego and guilt. Congratulations on putting family first. As a reward, you get to spend time with your granddaughter. Enjoy!
Thank you J Lennon, I do intend to enjoy all the time I can with this little one. We only see her twice a year as she is from the Philippines.
