If that link is to an affiliate offer and the person that clicks on it buys through it then you would get credit and commission from that click. In most cases with affiliate programs though, they are not pay per click but they pay when a sale is made. Amazon and eBay Partner Network do give some provision for clicks but it's unclear how they factor them into commissions.
Google also has a program where you can display their ads on your site and you would get paid if anyone click on those ads. You can find that program here:

Thanks a lot Jim. That pretty much answered my question. One last thing though. If I have images of Major companies such as best buy, big lots, and was not using an affiliate program through the site, would it still be wise linking the pictures to the websites if I wasn't using an Affiliate Program? Or would it be like shooting myself in the leg?

Just got indexed to google and just finished installing my sitemap on Wordpress. Now, approximately how long will it take for me to start seeing traffic, clicks and and visits?<
It will take time. Can it happen that you will see traffic immediately? Yes. Can it happen that you will feel as if nothing is happening? Yes. The more quality content you add, the better you will be rated... Keep up the great work!
