As I'm currently new to it all and read that we shouldn't use it for marketing on this site I'm using the experience to try blogging in ways that help to motivate or help other members whilst gaining the experience in blog cations that may attract others to read ..... I figured the experience will be extremely useful when blogging for marketing purposes on my site once complete...
Agreed. Did you read Jude's reply below? It seems that it could be used for "marketing" but not as direct link-sharing-type-marketing. I think you hit the nail on the head - gaining experience, building a connection base and honing your skills are all vital parts of online marketing and will serve you well as your website(s) gains traffic.

I'd just like to know what is the core of the site? Is it to connect, is it to create a site in which to promote your affiliates (from other sites) or is it to promote the affil
The ultimate goal of WA is to help you succeed online, whether it be by creating a website for a product or idea of your own, a website that promotes affiliate products or a site that promotes WA. whichever you want to succeed in online, thats what WA is here to help you do.
