Just learning myself,I think you need to use some keywords on every page, Do not stuff them in the page they need to look and sound like they belong where you use them.
Great site Larry. Clean, lot's of info and great content. Any keyword tool you use will give you several variations of your keyword title search, if one rings a bell for you and you put that in to your keyword tool search and that gives you more ideas, well now you might have three or four good keywords that you can write some good content for. Good advice below saying, your keyword is your title, have your keyword hopefully in the first sentence or two, if not somewhere in the first three lines in the first paragraph and maybe one or two more times throughout the article. No need to over due it. As for sticking multiple keywords in to one article, kind of a waste and you could be penalized by google for doing that. One keyword, one article, used two or three times throughout the article, you'll do fine. Good job
Happy Holiday's. No drinkin and four wheelin with your two wheeler.
Don
you put one focus keyword and make sure you use it a few times without stuffing or making it sound or look weird...
I use yoast SEO plug-in it's free and it really helps in terms of how to set-up an acceptable layout for SEO, what makes it good is that it's per page, once you set the "focused keyword" they will tell you what you need to do to improve your SEO visibility even flesch reading
hope this helps
Hi Larry, I am no expert because I am still learning myself, however, I think it is important to have keywords in all your pages, but very clean and simple. Just don't overdo it. I hope this helps a bit.
Blessings,
Wendy:)
Larry, I see you have some sound advice from other WA members.
Your site is fab, I still remember when you started that site and it's really come on amazingly, it's looking very professional. I'm glad you're doing so well.
You should use 1 major keyword phrase per page. Minor keywords can be added to a page if it makes sense with the content. M
You incorporated those keywords into your content.....if you're trying to get people to your home page and your landing page....you can also place links to those specific pages within your content on other pages...there are so many possibilities open to you....
G'day Larry. Firstly, you need to have unique keywords for each page or post, so that it gives your entire site more coverage. 4 or 5 keywords should be enough for each page, but if you try to jam too many keywords in, then you will be penalised. I remember years ago that some unscrupulous people used to have a virtual dictionary hidden in their headers, to hog the search engines - this is not allowed now, so be careful about having too many keywords.
If you want people to systematically go through your site, at the bottom of your home page, you can include a "Next" link which will take them to the next page, and have another link at the bottom of the second page leading on to the third page, as well as back to the previous page... and so on.
Larry I believe you cannot overdo keywords. The key places on a page to place keywords are: in the title of the page, in at least one heading. In the first paragraph hopefully it will fit in the first sentence. Then only one to three more times per page. It really helps to also put the keywords into the tag section for the page or post as well. Follow a similar pattern for each page. Since Google changed it's algorithms a couple of years ago, any page that is overstuffed with keywords gets penalized. So simple is better. Some special keywords that you would add to each page would relate to your overall site, but page by page is better. WP sites are designed to work like that easily. If you have 15 keywords it is unlikely that google would like that all on any one page. Maybe better to pick the ones that more definitely apply to each specific page. Do you get it?

Hi Larry - great site, and Tim's story is monumental! I left several quotes on the website, but the one I like best is:
There comes a time in a man's life when to get where he has to go - if there are no doors or windows he walks through a wall.
Bernard Malamud
I'm so proud of you for what you're doing here - it's very important, and INSPIRING!

I have an affiliate disclaimer on all of my pages located where it can be easily seen. You can see it here http://thomwofford.com. Feel free to use or adapt it if you wish.
I agree with the advice Donna and Marion are giving you, I would want to add something. About your page http://disabledfolks.com/1500-products/ I would enter the affiliate link to the 3 pictures of the wheelchairs as well. And thank you for tearing down the big red font.
And you should ad a space between Chills?Spills?
Very good progress you made!

Larry, You have received some very good advice within. I would just be careful not to be too wordy with your disclosure. You might reword your last paragraph to something like: "My mission is to provide reliable information about quality product, places which provide the product, customer satisfaction and excellent customer service. My secondary objective is to receive minor compensation for the sale and distribution of these products on behalf of the manufacturers or online sites."
Amazon has their own Affiliate disclosure which must be used on any site promoting Amazon. "website.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com." this could be adapted to suit your needs. However, I do like your personal approach and you could put it in a text widget so it appears on every page. I use a footer text widget. A few things I would change: "note note" should read "note" and you could completely leave out "his/her" and change "he or she" to "my readers". ~Marion
@pianobenjjam There is so much that we need to learn so we do things properly. That's why we need Wealthy Affiliate to help smooth out the learning curve.
"Please note note that my income has no bearing..."
Take out the second 'note' to read "Please note that..."
Hello Larry. You can create a disclosure page where you list each of the companies you are affiliated with.
By doing that you leave your 'about me page' to tell about the personal stuff, like the satisfaction you get by helping people make an informed decision on their purchases.
Go well from Janelle
Larry, on closer inspection of your site and your about me page..I think it is delightful as is. It is human, honest and caring. It reads distinctly genuine. Maybe leave it just how it is. Great job, man. J
whitsunday,
Your kind words are appreciated.

Buck has a pretty good idea there. I have an Amazon site, that is pretty much a given these days that people mostly know. :))
You can make a separate page from your About Me page, call it "Affiliate Disclaimer" or something like that, so that your website visitors will see something that is not part of your About Me page. This is probably the easiest way to make your position clear. Good luck!

If so where do i get same? Site is http://www.disability.gov
Hey Larry it might be easier to give some information in your own words and then just link to them for more information. Then you would not have to worry about updating when things change.
Hi Larry, if talking about documents by the U.S. federal government, it depends. If the work was done by a contractor, it could have copyright protections, but if it is able to be copyrighted, I would expect that it would be marked as such.
If it was created by a government employee while employed by a government agency then it is public domain. There are a few exceptions but almost all documents are public domain, If want to read more, and clarify this, here is a link that may help you.

The quality of your content is more important than the quantity of your keywords. And if you can't make your content read and sound natural with a certain keyword, don't include it.
