The next you write an article make sure you include the word "you" many more times than the word "me". I read today (Source unknown) that "You" is the most powerful money generating word there is. "FREE" may be a close 2nd but I'm not sure. Therefore........my newly created, almost a poem poem.
'When it comes to sales the talk is never about 'me but always about he or she because that's what spells money!!! and he or she = "you"

It is interesting that, as pronouns go, YOU can be either singular or plural, general or specific. That can lead to confusion! It can also provide a safety net; like, when you have hit too close to home and insulted someone, you can always weasel out by saying, " I wasn't talking about YOU; I was talking about people in general. Actually, I agree that YOU isa powerful money word when directed to some one individual or group specifically. Otherwise, a person' name outranks YOU.
This idea was taught in school when communicating with clients to use "you". I gives the wrong impression. Thank you for sharing.
I have heard in the past that 'you' should always be used when writing articles. This is a great way to drive home the importance of it - won't forget it now :)
Sound advice. Too many people are producing material about themselves rather than thinking about their readers.
