Promoting WAU To Local Folks? Surefire (no secret) way to get your phone to ring.
It's not rocket science to make and then tape 2-3 homemade signs to your car windows.
Your (black lettering on white paper) signs could be as simple as (and mine read) "Great Jobs!" Call 123 123-4567 Be safe and arrange signs so they do not block your vision if they are posted while you are driving. Once, in a 4 hour period I got 38 calls.
My car was parked (strategically) in an empty parking lot, very close to a busy (It was 2-6pm) four lane street, very close to traffic light, very near a McDonald's.
Once folks call, you screen them. If you can not get them to come by (McDonalds for me) for a brief face to face interview you can give them your web site address. You have their phone number on your phone so you can follow up. Larry

Hi Larry! That's a good idea! I was thinking about getting some magnetized signs made up professionally to promote my niche. We have friends that did this and it only caused one accident. :-) Seriously, it's one of the best ways to do good ole' advertising. Also getting ready to get business cards done. Vistaprint has some great deals! We go out a lot and could leave them all over the place. My husband can also take them to the University that he teaches at and post them on the reader boards! Thanks for your thoughts!
See my latest blog re Sizzle Cards Much better and cheaper than business cards. Thanks Larry
This isn't my niche, but think I may try it when I make trips to Walmart, Costco or even a downtown establishment. Thanks for the nice tip.
Have you had anyone angry with you saying your doing a "bait and switch"? What kind of a success rate do you have?
Very few angry folks - People appreciate your offer even if they say no. It's not a bait & switch -you are offering the greatest opportunity that I am aware of. I did this with another company. The number you sign up may be small (how good recruiter are you?) but it beats watching the tube.

Thanks Larry, I got Another Idea, I will go to our University here in my city and put up alot of flyers for the bulletin boards, they got alot of them there, to see what that could bring :)
Flyers work! Results vary - dependent on place, size, message, color, eye level, product, service and on and on.....
I'm doing one right now that just reads Disabled Workers Needed Call 123 456-7890
I feel a little creative in that I post a 2"X8"flyer (sign) up real high on disabled parking signs and using a double sided scotch tape I can place it high enough with the aid of a stick that people can't easily remove it. YES and no trouble from the city or anyone else yet.
A warning will come but...... Larry
