For an amateur, about how much time do you need to put in a week on average to see results in 3 months, 6 months, or even a year?

isn't this back to - are you in it for the money or to help people?
if you are here to help people then you may be more successful than if you are driven by financial reward.
when driven by financial reward you may overlook the marketing side and just go for the 'please buy my product' instead of the ' my product will help you do ...' if you convince them that the product is needed then you will make a sale.
how long does it to see results - doesn't it depend on your attitude to your business? along with other factors like niche selection, number of people in nich, do they buy online etc.
put in as much time as you can and then a couple more hours. don't be an amateur be a professional- think like a professional. call it part time but not amateur.
have fun

I totally understand where you are coming from. This question was not for me but for new people and spectators. When you had a 9-5 job you were trading your time for money. Would you have done the job if you were not paid?

For those looking to replace their income are going to be looking to see if them putting their time, heart, and sweat into this that they will eventually be able to see the trade pay off.

It's all about perspective and what is the need for the person looking into online marketing. My job is not to judge whether their motive to succeed is right or wrong but to provide enough insight and information to empower them to see that they can succeed in this if they give it their all. That is if this is what they were truly looking for or not.

It is ok if the dream is driven by the need for financial freedom, a passion for a specific product, or the desire to be a stay at home parent. Because in the end the important thing is that they have a dream that drives them to succeed.

I do know for everyone here, as you get good at this, it becomes natural to have a passion to help others succeed and win.

This is a difficult one to answer because there are so many variables. For example, the popularity of your niche, how many hours you are able to put in, the quality of your writing and articles etc. The good news is, WA will teach you all that.

Back to your question, you can see results in a few months, but you need to be realistic and expect it to take longer. The old saying "Rome wasn't built in a day" is very true, business takes time to build But you're in the right place :)

I completely agree that it does take time. This is a typical question asked by most. For those who just want to be successful often times don't look at the time frame but look more towards the opportunity to see if it can be done or not. But for others, an average idea piled from several who have finally gotten to the goal can put a mind at ease that it is possible and that it may not take them forever to get their.

This is a question to give the new people or the spectators hope and insight

That's an interesting angle you add that I hadn't considered :)

I asked others last week to review my website and give me some insight. since it has been several days, how do I find those posts to review what others had to say?

Go back to the same location that you placed the request.
