SEO, traffic, exposure. Why is all those things important? And How do we get traffic to our blogs or our web page? We all need to get more web traffic. Find your favorite cupcake recipe, and a picture of it. The next step is to find a cute picture of your cat or a dog. Yhea, I know what you think. What have those things in common? How can it help me to get traffic?

Fred is going crazy! but keep reading, I will get to that. We all know the importance of doing our homework when we make our contents. Either it's aimed towards of blogs, our websites, or our social engagements.

why is that? SEO. As an affiliate marketer we want to expose ourselves to the world online. We use tools like Jaaxy all the time, and sharing our content on Facebook for the most. We all use Facebook almost every day. And because we use it, its easy and convenient. There is a lot of people there we can leverage on to maybe be our new clients.

But why don't we use other platforms as well? Think of all the traffic we miss every day. Because of its easy and convenient. How many of us are truly using benefits of social engagements, the tools and multiple social platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest?

and there is properly even more we can take advantage of too.

Have you thought about using Quora? find a question related to your niche, post an answer and refer them to you review page FAQ page, Q&A page or, whatever. We have learned the importance of getting our readers engaged in our content. Why? Because of edge ranks.

EdgeRank is the name commonly given to the algorithm that Facebook uses to determine what articles should be displayed in a user's News Feed. As of 2011, Facebook has stopped using the EdgeRank system and uses a machine learning algorithm that, as of 2013, takes more than 100,000 factors into account.

Don't don't lose any potential clients

All social media use edgeranks to give posts with activity a higher ranking, therefore more exposure to those. Additional things you can leverage on is to be active in groups targeting your niche. Affiliate marketing for example.

  • Add friends from the groups. Be personal with your new friends. Introduce yourself and share your web page with them.
  • Post your new content on social media with a catchy description with a question. But sometimes this isn't enough.

There's a neat trick you can use however. Share your link to your new awesome review or a content. Capture your audience with a relevant, catchy and engaging phrase and question relate to it.

Then like and comment your own post. It doesn't matter how you comment your post. Leave a comment with a picture of your homemade cup cake and add a recipe for it. or post a picture of your cat and ask what's your favorite pet, cat or a dog, and why?

The reason for this is people have some reservations towards clicking on links or, see it as spam. But they love to share pictures of their pets and talk about it. You aimed for traffic and exposure, guess what? This helps. Sounds corny? Yhea, I thought that too.

The never ending of Search Engines Optimization

Back to SEO. If we want to get ideas for keywords, we use technique like alphabet soup. But the drawback of it? It takes time.

  • Why not searching for trends on Google as well? Its about traffic. And to benefit from it we can use Google trends. Did you know searching for 49ers with 2 mill + and All American season 2 with 200k + searches? That's a lot! We can use this to our advantage by making a blog post on this topic or if you have a niche in sports, or if you have a movie niche, then you have a golden opportunity to get a lot of traffic and get some rankings.
  • Another thing you can use as a valuable tool is Display purposes. Search for a word or a phrase and use hashtags (#)

But whatever technique you are using, how mutch traffic you get and how social you are, you need good quality content, keep focus and helping people. But don't forget to be a salesman too. In one point you need to sell. Or you won't make any money.

But be kind, offer excellent services and be there for your clients.
