Just today, I wrote 6,000-word post. Yes, there's a point why we have to write extensive post rather than mediocre posts. We are competing with billions of blogs every day for a top spot of Google SERP. So, to get there, you need to exceptional.
Given the recent Google Core Update 2019, your post should be at least 2,000 words, lots of backlinks, and worthy for sharing and linking. If you want more traffic, bolster your content so your potential clients and customers will have an A+ impression of you as a site owner and your content.
Hope this helps you, Frank.
P.S.: Just so you know, I have an average 2,000-word post to as high as 7,000 words. With my upcoming blog post, it would reach 10,000 words. :)

Wow Mecyll, Thank you for that. I was basing that question from the template suggestions in the training. Wow again for the regular avg, that is impressive.
Thanks too for the insight in the Core Update. My knowledge is a work in progress so for now I'll just take and trust your word about its impact
Best Wishes on hitting 10K! That's super hero work imho.

If you want my help, feel free to leave a message. I'll be delighted to be of help. It's actually a strategy. Brian Dean calls it the Skyscraper Technique. :)
Thanks for the open invitation! For sure I will take you up on that.
At this point I'm just halfway through lvl 2 of the Online Entrepreneur Certification so I'm positive there are more questions coming your way in the future. =)
Do whatever it takes to get your point across Frank. For SEO, longer is better anyways. Keep it going until you're done! loll
Thanks John, I'll just keep rolling along then.
BTW, I had to do a dbl take on your pic. You looked like a distant cousin of mine. Thanks for your service and super impressed that you've found a way to make enough money to stay at home with them four little peeps you created. =)
All the Best

2500 words is totally fine. Once you get to 3k-5k, you may wan to think of ways to increase readability.
A table of contents with jump links is a great solution I use a lot. Creating Jump Links For An FAQ Page They also make TOC plugins you can install.

Okay I'm stuck in my own way. I think my brain is thinking to far ahead to training I have yet to go through.
I dont have any affiliations to anything product or service
You can do either a keyword-focused post or a review. You do not need an affiliate link to write a review though. You can review anything you want, then add an affiliate link at a later date!
You will overcome this challenge as you continue with training. Best advice from WA-Teammate.
All the best.

Hi Frank,
Great question!.. Content was probably my biggest obstacle when I first started out, but thanks to these videos content comes second nature to me now...
Start with this video first, it's basically about mining keywords in order to craft your content... Understanding the Keyword Research Process Then, I'd recommend watching this video, starting at 8:45 min/sec... Again about using keywords to craft your content... Keyword Mastery - Keywords are the Foundation of Your Success ...
I think you're on the right track so far. If writing is new for you, it's going to take some getting used to. All good things do.
I also recommend researching websites in your same niche, make note of the articles that received the most comments / feedback and follow the same content / format. If there's an option, subscribe to receive their marketing emails too.
-Mike
Thanks TeamMate Mike!
It was helpful to watch these and review the key word research process from the training. Writing is new to me yes! So over time I'm sure I'll get to it spewing out eventually.
Peace and Blessings
...
Yeah, what's funny is how you're spewing out the writing right now just going back and forth with Q&A. 😉
Writing is a big obstacle for a lot of people. A lot of people walk away from starting online because of it. I contemplated it myself.
If you decide that writing might be better left to those who "write", you may also want to consider visiting Fiverr and start Bookmarking profiles of freelance writers who charge $10 - $20 for 500+ word articles.
No shame in getting a headstart when you're working online. That's why we're all in here (WA).
Peace and Blessings to you too.

Hello,
Premium member and only have five saved lists. I've been trying to save another list and it keeps taking me to an upgrade screen.
Below are screen shots of m
CANCEL THAT. LOL. Just a knucklehead that incorrectly remembered how to 'save the list'.
I thought I was supposed to hit the "+" symbol but nope...I figured it out by accident...
Check the box next to the keywords and the Lo and behold the 'Save to List' button pops up.
Aye Aye Aye. SMH at myself
Thanks though
you are searching with multiple tabs open - try closing most of them and you should be ok
the plus opens a new tab and with the more expensive jaaxy accounts you can search multiple tabs at once.
with lite it is only one, i thought, but i see you have three open.
to save your lists tick the boxes on the left of the keywords and then click on save and either give the list a name or add them to one of your lists.
you can then open them one list at a time and get the numbers.
good luck
phil
hey Franky - you figured it out an that's the important bit.
now go save some more lists.
have fun
phil
If it happens again send a ticket to site support as I have heaps of saved lists and this doesn't happen to me

Hi guys,
Just want to know how to remove the RSS Icon on my page? I dont know much about RSS and how it works so I'd just like it to be gone for now.
Also I dont l
I agree with Marion that I think both of those elements look fine. However, it looks like you chose a news-related theme (e.g. the "breaking news" feature), so if you want to remove all of those elements, it may be easier to change themes.
You CAN edit code to remove them, but it's not worth doing it on a free theme, and would take too much time to learn to do on your own at this point.
You could also choose to ignore those elements for now and change themes later if you think you'll spend too much time looking for the perfect theme.
Lol. You are so right in assuming I can spend toooooooo much time searching for the right theme. I have to set a limit and just pick a better one.
Both of those issues can be fixed by changing your theme. Personally, I don't see a problem with either of them. Writing content is much more important than these little things.
Thanks Marion. I have a tendency to dwell on little details. I appreciate your feedback. I posted a different question earlier about changing themes as well so that is probably the route I'll take...but I will focus my efforts on content as I get through the training.
Go to your WP dashboard menu and click appearance, then widgets and that's where you can make the options by click and drag to what areas.
Thanks Snazzy. thats unfortunately my problem. I cant seem to find the RSS part in the widgets. I see a field that I can drag and drop it into my various widgets but I dont see the existing widget which has that for me to remove.
I'll keep looking. I'm sure its there...just need to find it.
Then go to settings and click reading and see if it is in there. If not then go to general settings and again check in there. I am sorry I am not well and using my mobile phone otherwise I would have guided you through from my PC.

How many available themes do you see in WordPress? As a Premium member you should have access to thousands of themes. Maybe I don’t understand your question.

Up until I finally noticed the Add theme button I only saw 'downloaded' themes. I've got it now. Thanks Edwin!
