This is a bit of a bummer! I know it's a number's game but this makes no sense. 338 website visitors to my WA website and only 1 free member. Is that the norm?

Capture pages are a great way to make sure you keep a lead. Even if they don't take immediate action, you can nurture them and then market to them in the future. If your content is engaging then that lead will being to trust you and will eventually become a customer.

Yes, build the relationship first.
The rest will happen.

Hi! What is a capture page?

My blog has been up for a little over a month now. Here are my stats: 17 posts, 849 views, 308 visitors, 3 subscribers.

How do I raise my subscriber level? I feel like I should be getting more. I was looking into creating a free report but that might take me some time as I don't know what to create a report on.

Anything else I can do while I'm working on my report? Layout, more content, etc.?

Thank you! Also, here is my site: www.breakingboundaries.co.

I'd say it's time to build a capture page with a autoresponder attached to it. This way I can still keep in touch. Once they leave our WA website they are gone forever!

Yes Frank I agree.

Most days it's just like that. People are wary these days. Just keep adding content and they'll come. That pep talk is for me as well as you. :)

Clicks and conversions.....the lifelong struggle....Ken's right, it is a numbers game, also one of timing....

Frank, It is a numbers game at best. I would say that is good.
You need to continue adding valuable content, the numbers
will all increase. continued successes my friend.

Same here, I had 279 clicks so far and only one sign up which turned out to be a dud.

lol... you sound so funny with your dud :P

I just went to the site listed with your profile page. You have lots of information, but your orange drop down menus are kind of hard to read. the white letters just blend in, so maybe others just don't want to click through to check them out. But take heart! I just read earlier today that rarely do people buy from the first site on the page. People will on average visit many sites before they make a decision. I would work on the appearance, you've got their attention, just make it easier to read (color wise). Good luck.

Thanks Terry. The 338 visitors were sent to my WA Affiliate websites not my blog. But thanks for noticing the menu issue.

I went to this site

http://HowToBecomeaSmarterNetworker.com

This year I bring in 121 free sign up to WA but only manage get 10 sales. I not sure why conversion rate so low..

Hi I will have a look if you like

That will be great! Will drop a PM to you.. Thanks!

So which website did you use, the affiliate website?

That isn't really a low conversion rate. WA says about 1 in 8 go premium. If you had 15 sales out of 121 you'd be right on par with what it says in the affiliate dashboard. People are not numbers, there will always be some variation. I hope you don't think you're failing somehow.

Hi Catherine, just drop you a PM. Thanks

Not really do you want to give us the URL so we can check, if you like you can pm me or speak to me on Skype, chances are I will be able to see why it is converting poorly very quickly

First I was using the one that got me interested in WA this one: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kyle/blog/an-invite-to-become-a-remarkable-entrepreneur

Then I tried our affiliate website.

Plus for awhile I was sending people straight to the sign up page.

Thanks you.

I have a potential new member from Nigeria that couldn't create a WA account.
Thanks

Have you messaged Kyle or Carson?

No will do, thanks

I've been searching on this and the following link might be able to help you get around PayPal. This is another option:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kofirony/blog/help-for-ghanaian-and-nigerian-members

Let me know if that is not right and I will search some more! :)

I will add, that is sad, what Michelle said. I hope your Nigerian friend works it out.

Hi. If I am correct, Nigerian folks can't create a PayPal account. Therefore, they are also not allowed the trial membership for 7 days. They can only join if they go straight into a premium account.

Michelle

So if my friend goes premium how will he get paid if he can't use PayPal, if he decides to promote WA? Thanks.

A someone asked me this question on a social site. Would love some feedback so I can help him. Thank you.

What impact will have on my blog if I change its name and URL?

Try to keep the original .co.in and do a redirect on every page and post to the new .com. Copy and paste all the content into the new .com and delete the originals to avoid duplicate content. On each page and post you could make it clear that "this website is now 'name dot com', please bookmark this page/post".

I had to do this with one of my websites because the domain name was "blogwithwordpress dot com" and I found out after registering the domain name that I couldn't use wordpress as part of the name.

Marion

I agree that changing the url is going to mean a new site. If it is already established, I would change the name before I change the url.

You will naturally have to get another site; it's the only way you're going to change that url.....you can always 'point' your former address, etc......better to ask your 'host' (go daddy, etc.)....whichever company you use, their customer support people would have the best answer and direction for you.....unless you ask Kyle, of course lol

You can change the blog name, but change the URL and I think you will have a whole new website. I'm pretty sure there's a way to have your traffic follow you, but you need a wiser head than mine. Try researching it, but hopefully one of our website gurus will chime in here. Good Luck!
