Happy Thanksgiving, WA!
Hi, WA Friends!
If you've never experienced an Italian-American Thanksgiving feast, it's something to check out! There's so much food that finding the turkey can be like playing "Where's Waldo?" My wife has been cooking up a storm for the past three days and I have been doing all I can to help.
However, Thanksgiving is really about giving thanks for all we have.
Here are some of the things I'm thankful for:
Good Health
I thank the good Lord that I'm healthy at 68 years old and never take that for granted. In my line of work, I see many people much younger than me who have some very challenging medical issues.
Spirituality
I am a very positive and spiritual person. Positive energy is essential for healing and mental well-being, which has improved all facets of my life. I was lucky enough to be brought up in that type of environment!
Family and Friends
I was truly blessed to be born into an excellent loving and supportive family. You can't pick your family, but you can choose your friends, and I have many excellent ones, including many here at WA!
Education and Career
I'm so privileged to have been able to help so many sick people get well over the past 40 years and make a good living in the process. What could be better than that? I don't come from a professional family. Somehow I was lucky enough to have found my way into the medical field.
Music
Yes, my music comes last, which may surprise some here at WA. I was fortunate to be born with the gift of music. Everything else in life I had to work for. I can't imagine what a day would be like without playing guitar.
I wish all American WA members a Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope our Canadian friends had a great one too! 🦃
I'll probably be in a "food coma" by 5 PM tomorrow! 😎

Thanks for the look into your family.
My first wife was Greek, well half Greek. ( There is an old joke which is inappropriate for this platform. Lol ) and they use to celebrate holidays with the same food extravaganza. A mountain of moussaka, torrents of tabouli, lashings of lamb and often you would waddle away to fall asleep for a few hours…
And yes, they did dance with handkerchiefs. Very family orientated and sounds very similar…Have a great day and eat to excess.

Hey, Stephen
Reading your story I’m wondering if you saw the movie “My Greek Wedding?” I think you would really like it. There is also a part 2.
Hope you had a great day! 😎🦃
