An apple a day keeps the doctor away but if the doctor is cute forget the fruit.

I was very curious about an apple fruit when I was a kid, that’s the reason why it became one of my big wish to see a tree of it in person. Luckily my wish came true when I visited Skagway Alaska, I saw one place in there then I took a picture of it as my souvenir a dream came true.

Since a kid I already love reading the bible, what I have found in it is that the, the fruit that Eve and Adam was eating was not named as the bible only said:

Genesis 2:17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Therefore, the fruit that they ate could not be called an apple or else we will be sinning by adding a word which is not mentioned on the particular verse.

Deuteronomy 12:32 See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.

Proverbs 30:6 Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

We all have freedom in our faith and for myself I don’t call that fruit apple which God forbade Adam and Eve to eat, but just a fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.

Have a blessed day to all in WA.

You're right, the Bible never said it was an apple, just a fruit. Like your scriptures

Well said Francisco!

Thank you Jollin.

I always had trouble reading the bible as it was written in Shakespeare era English. A couple of years ago I saw a bible written in modern English. It seemed sacreligeous and unholy.

Thanks for your comments, I have respected your view of the bible. I am a Christian and a God believer, yes there are many different translations nowadays so some interpretations might not be what the original writer meant to be, that’s why we have now an interlinear transliterated bible. This is not a translation but it is a tool that will give us the almost the same as how the original bible was written. Upon reading this we are like reading the Hebrew or the Greek, and a little Aramaic which were how the original bible was written, because it's translated word for word. In every word in the verse are given the equivalent English translation, so the number of words from the original should be the same number of words in the other versions. What I found closer to the original is the King James Version but KJV is using still the old English therefore, it’s still a little bit harder for the none English speaker to peruse because they use for example “You” as “Thee” and “Your” as ”Thy.” I know it’s far away from what you meant to be with the you said version of the bible which is for you sacrilegious and unholy, that unless I can read which one is that then I can agree that there is an unholy bible. thanks so much and have a nice day.

I am a USA born English speaker. Growing up we had the King James version which I accepted as being THE bible.

I understand what they're writer is saying. I just found it tedious to read much at a time. I didn't much care for reading Shakespere in high school either.

I just try to do right by people and live by the golden rule.

Thank you so much...

Very well said, Francisco!
Jeff

Thanks Jeff...

You're welcome, Francisco!
