Hi there,

To answer your questions:

1. My preference is to use one domain and offer different languages through a language switcher. That way, images and other media that are the same in both/all languages are maintained.

2. No need to use sub-domains. A separate directory (folder) should be created to contain the alternative language pages and the only thing that changes is the URL path. A professional translation plugin (such as WPML or Poly) does this automatically.

3. If you mean the WordPress admin area, this can be the same as the language on the front of the site or kept in the primary language - entirely up to you.

Cheers,

Martin.

Today you can:

- build multiple websites in different languages

- build one website and use a translation plugin

Cheers,
Stanley
