Someone offered to guest post for me with a backlink to her blog.
Should I allow it or not?

Hi - you need to check out her blog to ensure it is of high quality, high authority. If it is a brand new blog, or the posts seem to be low quality or not in the same niche as yours, I wouldn't accept the offer.
Typically, if a person guest posts, you offer the same in return, thus giving your site a wider audience.
You also need to lay down some ground rules, such as the length of the post and that you have the right to edit it if required. Make sure they are writing a brand new post for you, and not using one that is already published.

Only if the blogger has a background in blogging, good enough to enhance yours. Otherwise, no.

Just a thought - you could edit her comment to remove the backlink to her website and then treat it as normal
Hi Jason, I think it's possible. Besides the Approve button there's an Edit button. You can do it there.
