First Blog Post!
I decided that I will write my first blog post tonight. Based around gaming, I decided to write a summary of the 5 games I most played during 2017. It is more of a pilot post to test out a writing style. One thing i would recommend on adding is a CTA to join your email list. Do you have an autoresponder?

it's not a problem at all. Email marketing is still a very powerful way to make money that compliments and accelerates. Mailchimp is free for the first 2k subscribers so thats a place to start.
You want to offer something of value to give people a reason to opt-in. For your awesome niche that would be fairly simple:

Just make sure you have your mailchimp campaign set up with a series of emails they get over the first 7 days and then have it go to a weekly email where you email tips and promotions.

I don't have a specific "style", I just write with my own personal enthusiasm and try to keep the reader engaged with my passion for the topic.
