What is a Super Affiliate?
I'm curious to know... What is Your definition of a Super Affiliate
As there are so many affiliate marketers here in this fantastic community. I would love to know what your personal definition of a Super Affiliate is and why?
What is the definition of the Super Heroes of Affiliate Marketing for you?
Who do you regard as a Super Affiliate? Who do you follow?
My definition of a Super Affiliate is:
An affiliate marketer that is consistently earning money $2,000+ per month from their affiliate marketing efforts AND is a leader in their affiliate marketing community.
(22 July, 2018 Comment - after sharing this post I realised my definition was limited by my own expectations of myself when in actual fact those that I am inspired by are those that are earning 6 figure incomes through Affiliate Marketing. Amazing how expectations can influence how much you perceive the world.)
For example, here at WA they qualify to attend the Las Vegas conference.
Why?
The income amount is because $2,000 per month is my initial income goal to achieve. This means I could work on my blog 2 days per week instead of one of my part-time jobs. This income would replace the income I earn from this job then I could work on my blogs 2 full days per week - bliss!
To continue to learn and grow and ultimately increase my skills and therefore income I believe you need to learn and hang out with other Super Affiliates to continue the journey. Attending the WA Las Vegas annual conference represents that for me. My son also has an ambition to join me at the conference one day - now that would be cool. To give him this knowledge and education so early in life - wow that would be very 'kewl'.
Who do I regard as a Super Affiliate? Kyle, Carson, Jay (magistudios), Tony Hamilton, Kaju, Grace (littlemama), Jerry and Frank (affilicoach). There are many others here, I know, but these are those that I am following at the moment - it is always evolving and we resonate with different people along the way too depending on where we are at and who we are.
That is my definition, what is your definition of a Super Affiliate

Thank you so much for your generosity, perhaps in giving and supporting others but I will be a full Super Affiliate when I achieve a 7 figure income from it
My super affiliates are those in the 7 figure bracket. They have truly proved they are a cut above the rest!
Derek
Great definition Derek thanks for sharing. I think I'm adding 7 figure income as a criteria too :)
Super affiliate is a term that gets bandied about a lot. Some people think it's based on an income amount per month. Others think it's people who are working full time as an affiliate. If you attend the PubCon conference, they don't consider you a Super Affiliate until you are earning $300-$400,000 or more a year. I don't waste time trying to use that label anymore, it's lost all meaning. But I do think you are super!!!
Thanks, Jeannine I think you're super too! Yes not wanting to get 'hung up' on the terminology but was curious to know what people's perceptions were re the term. Super Affiliate earning $300,000+ per year yes that is super too
I don't want to sound like I'm just repeating but your definition is pretty spot-on!!!
I agree with the people also and what about... I am terrible with names. Please forgive me sir but he just started recently and is already almost an ambassador. His name begins with an E.

No I looked him up and his name is Enstinemuki, he joined in May and is already knocking on the door to the ambassadors.

Thanks Grant yes that certainly can be a motivating reason to follow a Super Affiliate that is for sure
HI Fleur, actually I think your definition is a good one, especially for all of us here in WA. I've read other definitions that include what you say and that the super affiliate is usually in the top 1% of an affiliate's program activity.
Wayne
Thanks, Wayne, I guess it is hard to 'know' who is in the 1% activity but do you mean financially or just participation?
Well, Fleur, I think most would argue it is a financial metric. However, it certainly could be either or both.
Wayne
Agreed Wayne ultimately is a financial metric just checking in so I understood your point of view
Needless to say, Kyle & Carson are the best, but LittleMama & Jerry are a great motivation here at WA. I specifically have a lot of respect for Jerry Huang. This 20 years old entrepreneur is just amazing to see the things he's accomplished as a WA member. Upon visiting his website, this gentleman can build! On the other hand, LittleMama is awesome. I keep on seeing her blog about major accomplishment and that she's very close to going Vegas. Simply motivating! Wonder when I will start seeing the 300 number next to my air plane icon at top to go down at least to 299.. LOL.
Yes agreed I love following all of the above. Particularly Jerry I am sharing his story with my son - he’s 11 - a great positive young role model. Both Jerry and Grace are producing quality and working consistently at it which sounds the key.

I am so glad I had this discussion here at WA - it highlighted how much I was limiting myself and my own expectations of not only what I could learn as an Affiliate Marketer but that my definition of a Super Affiliate was actually including a 6 figure income - thank you WA community once again! I'm now blogging about this on my own blog - Yay (but not duplicated content so all good - from a fresh perspective).
