It pays to watch training on topics you already know
To be specific, it pays to watch recent (up-to-date) training on topics you already know
I am working through my monthly Super Affiliate tasks on how to use and create video content. I have been using and creating video content for many years with varying degrees of success. However, I decided to go watch all the short training videos Kyle had created such as:
How to Embed a Youtube Video...
Even though I already know how to do this but I learnt something new or at least I saw a setting Kyle has that I can't currently see - so am working out how to change that. But my point is, often we don't know what we don't know. Therefore, if you see current training available (which is frequently the case here at WA). Then take the time and view the training.
It is super easy to do especially now you can change the speed you watch videos playback. So if it is content you already know you can watch it (2x) or 'double time' or rather 'half time' actually. This is what I did this morning and I picked up I'm missing out on one setting. So very worthwhile the 5 minutes I took to view this familiar content.Have you reviewed existing topics and uncovered a pearl of an idea or a gold nugget?

I am always looking out for updated training modules. Things change so fast on the internet it is almost out of date as you read it!
Even when things don't change and you reread some of the training you notice something you didn't notice before or you put a slightly different slant on it.

Thanks for this. Another important reason is that newer and better ways are always evolving, so one needs to keep learning to update on one's knowledge.
You are so right - I just LOVE continually learning I guess that's why I love it here at WA so much!
Never close your mind to what you already know. Something new could be learned. Everything evolves. Thanks for posting, Fleur.
Getting ready to view some videos myself. Thank you for the extra push of looking for a pearl or gold nugget.
Hi Fleur, excellent points. I agree it is always a good idea to check out updated training and information on topics you may think you know. Never too old to learn new "tricks" :-)
