6 months at WA
6 months ago I joined WA.
I stumbled across WA after doing some research about online communities.
My motivation was to find some cost effective services for businesses under a turnover of $1 million and a supportive professional community not located in my hometown.
If I had of known about WA 9 years ago when I started in business I would have joined then. But I suspect back then I wouldn't have understood the value.
But here we are 6 months on and about to transfer over my last website and biggest business which I am restructuring for 2018.
I am thoroughly enjoying the supportive and positive environment here at WA in particular. As much as I love my hometown, we had a dramatic downturn in the market in 2016 and small businesses here haven't really recovered. My biggest business lost 75% revenue within 3 months. Which simple took my MOJO for business.
This year, I got a part time job I thoroughly enjoy to pay for my mortgage to take financial responsibility. By the end of this month I will have caught up on all business and personal bills which means I can begin to pay down credit card debt.
At the end of this year I will restructure my biggest business so it is no longer reliant on just one local geographic market.
Thank you WA I have my MOJO back for business and am valuing the services here and community. This WA membership replaces approximately $1200 per month costs. Which I'm thrilled about.
As I have finished the Certification courses here, I am now focussed on:
- going through Bootcamp courses,
- blogging regularly
- creating a minimum income here of $2000 per month to replace a 2 day contract
- Building my community here and
- Paying it forward here in gratitude for all those that have and continue to support me here

Thanks Gifty, although getting up with an alarm today for the first time after 2 weeks was a challenge!
Congrats, Fleur. I love your attitudes. You are both thrilled and at the same time pretty much realistic about what you are doing. That's very inspiring.:)

Congratulations Fleur - that's a wonderful milestone to reach and a great attitude to carry you forward to bigger things - which will certainly come.

Thanks Mike! Yes I spent 3 months absorbing the positivity here and now balance my time ad focus between networking, doing the training, working on my websites and paying it forward.
