The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is an important new law. And came into effect on January 1st 2020.
It applies to almost every website or app with users connecting from California, United States.
What does it need?
An Explicit reject button in the Cookie Solution
This button allows visitors to refuse cookies. And becomes relevant for users from,the UK as the ICO requires an explicit display of the reject button.
This is important for cookie plugins. Make sure they are compliant. An extra feature to look for is a country detection feature. This allows to automate to which users you display the cookie banner based on their country.

If you target an audience that does not fall under those rules, no worries.
If you do, You need a plugin with this option.
I have tried many and ended up with a paid version... specific for Europe.
DYOR and see what you need and wOrks best for you.
