One of the most overlooked conversion-killers
that strangles your site is SPEED!

It chokes the profitability of reference pages, ads, funnels, landing pages, subscription pages, ... websites tout court.

And the worst?

People think they have failed...
How awful. Yuk!

Do you recognize that?

Let us look into that

Why is speed so important?

Marketers get a ROI of 50%, 100%, 200%, and even more of their funnels (calls to action) and references. Right right?

But...

No matter how good, persuasive, outstanding
your landing page,
your offer
your talk is…

If your visitor does not see or hear it, because he skips the loading time and leaves.
Harsh? Yes, it is.

No use indeed if your readers do not see your ad or landing pages because it took more than 2 seconds to load!

Yep you read that right... MORE than 2 seconds.

Crazy, isn't it?

The load speed of your pages can make or break your business...
and even big businesses do not pay enough attention to that.

Research has revealed that a 2-second delay in load time
may result in abandonment rates of up to 87%!

Oh my!

And that is just the start of a painful story, since it is silently killing your visits and conversions. And your own experience with your website is not enough since web pages are often already cached in your browser.

Uh... what is that!

Well, most website creation tools within WordPress use caching.

This is how caching works

When you visit a web page for the first time, the caching saves copies of the site’s files in your browser. Meaning that during your next visit, your browser uses those files from its cache or memory. This minimizes the work needed for the server to generate and serve a web page to your browser.

It also means that a website will have a higher page load speed on a second visit (provided that you did not clear your cache) . Thus, people visiting your site or funnels for the first time will have a lower load speed.

- Does google analytic mention this?

No, because it loads before. So it is not really a reliable reference. Even with a low loading speed it will show you shiny sessions that run for 00.00ss – 00.05ss.... yuk indeed.

- And other speed testers?

Oh well, they give different results along the day and there are huge differences between them too... not a reference either.

All this is not really so reliable for speed-checking ...

What can we do then?

You better look at solutions on how to speed up your website instead of rather not so reliable checkers.

• Here on WA make sure to have site speed + set on
• Use the kraken plugin which optimizes your images
• Make sure to use a reliable and optimized theme
• Avoid unnecessary plugins

Some use plugins to speed up the cache or record the website sessions (for more advanced users) to monitor what really happens.

Slow website speed is even a bigger issue if you use a funnel building tool...

So better know this before you start. And make sure to check it.
