Since I did not know what to answer, I just said nothing
If I said yes, it might amplify the fear
If I said no, it might block the child
So I simply said:
- what do you think?
- I think so, because I saw one
And the other child nodded and said:
- me too
- And where did you see them?
- In the corner of the room and IT grew bigger.
- Well, next time you see IT just think IT grows smaller and transforms in a butterfly. Shall we do that?
They both nodded
And next day they smiled happily
- IT is gone

Absolutely!! I had my first experience when I was about 5yrs. When I was 21, pregnant with our 2nd daughter . My husbands cousin, whom I never met , appeared before me (broad daylight cementary) and directed me straight to her grave, for which her cousin was desperately looking for.
I've had a few strange things happen over the years that I couldn't explain but I've never seen a ghost. Probably for the best really, I have enough grey hair as it is! :)

Well, when I was a teenager I was about to walk up some stairs in a garden when I saw three figures floating down the stairs towards me, taking up the whole width of the stairway.
The only thought that rushed through my head was that I would be going THROUGH those misty figures if I carried on my path and there was NO WAY I was going to do that. So I bolted off to the right and scrambled up a grassy bank in panic.
I wish I'd just stood still and watched, but I panicked and ran and ran, my heart beating fast, until it was too late to analyse and the stairs were no longer in sight.

We always run away from what we are afraid of. It takes guts to confront...
What if you had stayed and wAlked through indeed... wOuld you do that today? Or run again? I wOuld run...
Hahahha I don't know but I'd be REALLY annoyed with myself if I ran away again!!!
It would be so interesting to just stay calm and watch...and see... :)
In technology, we operate with term ghost, so I am used to it... but don't feel comfortable when I think that abstract ghost can become visible. Ohh... it is late evening and I am alone in my house...

I prefer Interplanetary Interference... It sounds exotic... and unpredictable...
And regarding Ghost Client - I believe something like this happen to you... there are several software solutions.
Haha...I know.. hence my post... would be nice if you could 'explain' IT... because it happens a lot wIth me... data, images, fonts, ... big cosmic dance...

I believe in "good" ghosts, because my father visited me six months after his death. It was only for an instant, but I somehow felt reassured that he was okay.
I also believe it's possible for spirits (or souls) to "lose their way" sometimes. Even if such spirits occasionally seem "mean", I don't believe any of them have any desire, or any ability, to harm us. Hey! I get cranky sometimes myself!
In my humble opinion, the only harm anyone seeing a ghost might suffer would be the harm they inflicted upon themselves from their own fear. Falling down stairs as they ran away, etc.
