301 blogs
301!
Wow... if you start counting it takes a while to pile up. 1,2,3,4,5,... 301!
This is my blog number 301... kind of magic number...
Took me some time to write, edit and publish that number.
Almost one every two days!
Keeping the road as they say.
Keeping the road.
Why 301 and not 300?
Well, on our websites, some times the status code 301 pops up as well. A permanent URL redirection for links or recordings that were moved. Frankly, something I still do not use, nor understand.
Thank you for all your readings, comments, shares and likes!
PS
So, if someone feels enlighted to explain that 301 error in plain sight? I bet many of us will learn from that...

You can check by clicking on “view statistics” somewhere in the middle of the page in your Site Content dashboard, assuming that’s where you write your articles. For example for me, it says I have 50 published articles, of which 29 were indexed by Google. You can also see which ones by looking for the colorful vs colorless « G » next to each published article. If you see an unindexed article, you can tweak it and ask for more user comments about it. For me, at least twice Google indexed my article the next day that I did that, on articles that Google had ignored for months.
Then I recall there are ways to check whether your articles are indexed in Google, either one by one or in bulk, but I’m not sure where to point you to. I think it would be very important information for you to have!
Congratulations that's amazing
Well done

A 301 redirect is a permanent redirect from one URL to another.
The 301 redirects, send site visitors and search engines to a different URL than the one they originally typed into their browser or selected from a search engine results page.

A 302 redirect is as a tempory redirect.
The easiest way to create or manage a redirect in WP is to use a plugin. There are so many in the Word Press .org depository a plugin for everything under the sun and some, 55 K +
