SAC Gives Us A Learning Fast Track
I am learning so much from the SAC journey. It's kept me out of trouble, that's for sure. It is a very good thing that the cat comes in to tell me what time to eat and what time to go to bed. He is a very good alarm clock.
One of the most enjoyable and important things about this challenge: Other members are truly wonderful. They have been so helpful! We seem to have the unspoken agreement that we are all in this together and the more we can help each other the better.
Because of all this outstanding support, I have moved over several small hurdles. For example, one member taught me how to create categories. A few people have been trying to help me figure out what to do about my large header, and I think we've done it, by George!
I'm learning about customizing, and was finally able to crop the header to a bit smaller size. Then, Laura Fuller put some sky-writing on the image that says, "Reach out and touch the world with Affiliate Marketing." It's in white letters, and I think it looks good.
I was able to rearrange my widgets the way I wanted. Now my logo is at the top of the right sidebar. On the logo, changed the colors to match the picture better and made it smaller.
Got a new review written and published. Reviews are still a real challenge for me. I now have six of my twelve posts done. My total word count is already pretty good. It's up to 10,232 words.
I'm still working on the cat website as well. It is on track so far. I have a post on cat cafes that will put up as soon as this blog is finished.
My acceptance as a member of the Cat Writer's Association is serving me well. I've started a category on my website called "CWA". Sending out questionnaires, a few at a time, to all members. The post is about them, what they have written, their relationship to cats, a good cat story, and photos.
The first post covered seven members and was about 2500 words. I'll try to put one of these up at regular intervals, as soon as I get enough answers returned. The president of the organization just requested a questionnaire, so that's a good thing.
I am starting to get a bit of organic traffic in there. My Facebook page for the website, where I put my posts up whenever a new one is published, is getting new followers all the time.
The dichotomy between the two sites -- cats and WA -- is not easy. I'm building content around my personal rule of doing one post in the cat blog every three days. It gives me a structure to use for building the two in tandem.
So far, so good.

Good afternoon my Sac comrade, the challenge is a excellent learning process, in many ways for each and everyone of us no matter how long we've been apart of WA, you're absolutely correct, all the wonderful people that are a part of this challenge are becoming a close family, willing to help and give at every turn, we do indeed have amazing people walking by our sides on this journey. I give a hip hip hooray for you for the things that you have already learned and the things that I know you are going to learn. I believe in all of my heart that you will be successful. May Prosperity be with you.
Fran, you've made huge progress. As much of the SAC work is 'New territory' to many of us, having a familiar parallel is a help, I think anyway. As my mind is constructing new content for the SAC I'm able to unload on the other sites, if anything, it makes me feel that I have accomplished something rather than nothing and fretting. Not everyones first choice but we're not everyone.
Well, yes,it is one of my middle names. I change off now and then with other, equally complimentary ones.

Wonderful progress, are you full time on your 2 websites?
Great progress
Pretty much. I post in my original site every 3 days; fit everything else around that.
