How you can develop persistence
A law of the universe concerns cause and effect. Persistence is an effect; thus it has definite causes.
The most important step to developing persistence is knowing what you want. If you are strongly motivated, you can surmount many difficulties. In WA this is very important, because as we learn we run into road blocks and have to be steadfast in our endeavors to get past them. This is called persistence.
Do you have an intense desire for something? If so, that will help you maintain persistence.
Do you believe in your ability to do what needs to be done to succeed? If you have doubts, your self-reliance can be developed through affirmations. Affirmations help program your subconscious, which will help to create your self-reliance.
Try writing an affirmation that encompasses your desire. Then internalize it. I used to use an affirmation when I had my jewelry business that I think I'll start using again. Maybe it will resonate with you, too. Here it is.
"I am so happy and grateful that money now comes to me in increasing quantities from multiple sources on a continuous basis, and I am making $______(your choice) per day. I am impeccably prosperous in all things."
Do you have a plan for the days, weeks, and months ahead? If you develop an organized plan, even though it's weak or impractical, the presence of the plan will encourage persistence.
How do you know if your plan is sound? Here's one way you can know: Does every step of your plan include a way to give to others? If we know we have a good plan that knowledge will encourage persistence.
Do you get along well with others? If you are sympathetic and understanding and can cooperate harmoniously with others, these traits will help you develop persistence.
Can you get in the habit of concentrating your thoughts upon the plan you are building? Do you have the will power to continue moving steadily toward your goal?
Persistence happens because we do the things on the foregoing list so regularly that they become habit.
Be a persistent giver.

Great message Fran, I believe persistence is something not everyone has naturally and I like the way you have described how to achieve this. Cass
It is something that we often have to learn. I think my cats have been great teachers about persistence, because when they wanted something, they would not stop bugging you till they got it. Now, that's the way to be persistent!
And you said that you have problems finding good topics ...
Obviously, isn't true.
Thanks Fran!
