Here's Another Source for Free Images

I have listed such things as books or plants on my website, and have found that I can get many of the images I need from Yahoo. Let me give you an example: I included a book review of "The Incredible Journey." I went to Yahoo and typed "The Incredible Journey Images" in the search bar. I got a group of posts about the book plus a row of images. Then I clicked on that image row and it brought up a whole page of images. At the top right of the page in light grey letters are the words "any license". Click on it for a drop-down menu. On that menu, go to "free to share and use commercially" and click again. Whatever picture you clicked on will appear large size in the middle of the screen. Click out of it, and you will be left with the rest of the images, sometimes more than a page. They are free to share and use commercially.

Hope you find this helpful.

Isn't that the truth? I am surprised Google doesn't do the same thing.

The pet journey, lol.

Yep. My cat wrote a book review about it.
It's great for things like children's books because you can get illustrations that are exactly what you want. I also needed pictures of specific plants, and found all the ones I needed on there.

That's amazing one.

thanks for the info. I am always looking for images.

Yep...I search several places sometimes to find the ones I want.

Thanks for the information, Fran. However I felt our site content has tons of free images. Probably will give it a try, if I can't find the right image. Cheers, Bel

You will find you need others. Be sure to check out Pixabay and Pexels. As you progress, you'll need more places to look.

Just realized that today, I needed to find the photos out of WA and found your alternative/suggestions extremely helpful. We can also find the images from Google and MSN too using the same method as suggested above.

Thanks a million,

Cheers,
Bel

Always in the market for these. Thanks, Fran!

You are very welcome.
