Do You Follow Your Psychic Pathway?

I've been a member of Edwin Bernard's group that is reading Napoleon Hill's "Think And Grow Rich," one chapter a week. Edwin writes an excellent summary of the chapter and we comment if we wish. It's been a helpful journey.

Early on in our reading (Chapter 2, I believe) we were asked to write out a goal in the form of an affirmation stating exactly how much money we desired, what we would give in return for the money, and the date when we intended to possess it. Then we read this statement aloud twice a day.

I am currently reading another book called "The Psychic Pathway," by Sonia Choquette. I haven't read a lot yet but have found some suggestions that might enforce and embellish our desires.

Basically, by reading this affirmative statement twice a day, we are asking the universe to give us a plan by which we can gain our goal.

Ms. Choquette says that by making the decision to ask our Higher Self to guide us, we are placing both our attention and our intention directly in the path of Higher Self. This shifts our orientation away from outside energy and places it on the guidance the universe will give us.

She says it is important to trust what our Higher Self tells us. In other words, we need to learn to trust our intuition. Instead of jumping to conclusions about a situation, we should first "check in" with our Higher Self and go with what Ms. Choquette calls psychic guidance.

She says that psychic guidance is God's gift to us. She describes it as the "collective voice of your Higher Self, your guides, your teachers, your angels and the divine." To receive this gift, you must give it value by listening to the message you are given.

Accept that your intuition is there to help you.

Napoleon Hill says to be successful we must use our imagination to understand that accumulation of money must not be left to chance. It requires a certain amount of dreaming, wishing and wanting, and planning before we receive this money.

To receive a great quantity of riches, we must have the "white heat of desire" and believe we will prevail.

Sonia Choquette says that every time you make a decision to act on your intuition, you are telling your subconscious mind that you are serious about your intent, and that you trust your Higher Self and value its advice.

Acting on intuition is an act of surrender of your ego -- a conscious choice to allow your life to be directed by the counsel of a divine source.

You are still responsible for doing your life's work. You must still focus and work toward your goals, but now your Higher Self becomes your partner, helping you to faster, more effective ways to achieve your desires.

Choosing to act on your intuition makes the final shift into setting up an extraordinary life. Like with a radio, you turn on your receiver and place your attention like a tuner on the band of energy called your Higher Self.

By trusting it, you pay attention and value the psychic guidance being relayed.

By acting on psychic energy, you do the "dance of the soul." Your life becomes a spontaneous flow of movement.

As the last part of our affirmation, we say that we are awaiting a plan that will lead us to our goal. I think this is where Ms. Choquette's message is very valuable.

If we open ourselves to the voice of the Higher Self, we will receive messages in the form of sudden ideas that can help us make valuable progress. These messages can, indeed, help us develop the pathway we desire.

Just pay attention! When we are open to the suggestions, recognize them and their source, and act on them. We may find a whole new set of ideas that can help us on our journey.

I've received a couple of these messages since reading my affirmative statement, and am acting on them to my advantage. It is just very important that we listen to our inner voice!

If we can become consciously aware of this spiritual vibration of divine energy, we will become free of self-consciousness, anxiety, and fear. If we live our life on the psychic pathway, we will live a life of peace and inner security.

Great post, Fran. I must admit that when I get overwhelmed I don't follow my instincts or psychic pathways as much as I do when I'm relaxed and open to hearing their guidance. Stress really gets in my way and clogs the communication. Will need to really work on that. Thanks for the info. Gonna go find the book!

That is very interesting. I have a great belief in a higher self and intuitive thoughts and feelings. I am a Christian, but do not close off my thinking to other belief systems. I like to read and watch and self-development videos of Dalai Lama, Chopra Deepak and a couple of other speakers on such things. As I get older I am realising the inner wisdom or higher wisdom lies in all of us. Jen

You speak truth.

Gave me 'goose bumps' as soon as I read the title. Stunning post Fran and you made the subject very easy to follow.
Names and terminology may vary but the core of this is the same.
Being 'open' I feel is one of the major assists at the heart of it, as long as you listen of course.
Thank you Fran, the evening has become brighter.

Oh, so glad...yes, you must realize that a message has just come through. It's important to pay attention.

Nice post Fran. Loved reading it.
Carol

Thank you, Carol.
