Climb The Mountain To Success

Have you done any mountain climbing? What did you think of the experience? Did you climb high enough to challenge yourself, or did you only scale gentle hills? Reaching the top of a challenging climb can be compared to scaling the mountain to success.

Climbing the mountain is much like climbing to success in Wealthy Affiliate. At first, everything is easy -- a gentle slope; nothing you can't handle. Consider these commonalities: You start at a slow, gradual pace, saving your energy for the higher climb ahead.

As you go along, the lessons get more and more comprehensive, causing you to push your limits a bit. This pushing is a good thing.

By the time you reach the cliffs, high up on the slope, you have covered a lot of ground and made great progress. However, as you near the top, you reach the hardest part.

Here you certainly need to use some tools to climb the rock mass, so you gear up with good rope, pitons and carabiners. You plan carefully and make sure your links to the mountain are pounded solidly into the rock face.

Just as in Wealthy Affiliate, you reach a point where you need good tools to get where you want to go. Of course, you have Jaaxy, which is unexcelled for keyword searching. You will also find you need other software to help move ahead.

Success is achieved by sticking to the task until you get there. You have no guarantees as to how long it will take. Just like the mountain climber, once you are roped in with your partners and are halfway up the rock face, you can't just decide to quit.

You have no choice but to move ahead. You don't want to fall. You keep moving upward until you reach the top. That might be called commitment.

Once you are committed, you have no other choice. You keep going until you reach your goal. There is no turning back.

So, fellow WAers, will you climb your mountain all the way to the top, or will you give up when you are half-way there?

Both climbing the mountain and succeeding in Wealthy Affiliate can cause you to get out of your comfort zone. Climb out of that box and push your boundaries. This process is called growth.

I'm involved in a growth process at present as I learn how to create videos. It's all new to me, but is another skill I can learn and use as I see fit.

It is a wonderful thing that we have so much chance to grow in Wealthy Affiliate. If we just keep going, eventually we will find the way to reach the top of the mountain.
