Choose An Opportunity For Growth
Of course we want to choose an opportunity for growth. We need to spend time every day figuring out how to learn from our own experiences.
There are three things we need to do if we wish to see all change as adventure:
- Learn how to learn, not just to gather information
- Learn how to make the right choice, as we are a composite of all the choices we make
- Learn how to relate our actions to our choices
The power of choice will allow us to flip the switch between negative and positive. As our conscious mind can only entertain one thought at a time, keep the mind on the positive track.
We need to keep focused on the direction we want to go. This focus will keep us on the right frequency or level of vibration needed to succeed. We do have that choice, to change frequency at will.
If we are generally happy, full of great ideas, we are more apt to choose a positive direction. Keep vigilant for the small negative things that lead us away from our goal. Develop awareness on who we are and where we want to go.
Being happy energizes our life. Being happy will help recharge our battery. We need to check to see if we have energy leaks coming from negative people or choices, and plug all those leaks. Look for positive people who will help us keep our battery fully charged.
Our ultimate journey involves letting go of ego. Our ego, or human self, is there to serve us. Don't let the ego become the master and not the servant.
As we lay on our deathbed, how will we respond to these three questions:
- Did I open myself to give and receive as much love as possible?
- Did I become all I was capable of becoming?
- Did I make a difference?
According to Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, these three questions are the things people most voiced concern about at life's end. We want to be able to say "yes" to all three.
Part of our spiritual journey should be caring for others rather than obsessing over ourselves. Isn't it wonderful that the more we help others get what they want, the more we will get what we want?
We have a wonderful opportunity for growth and change right here in WA. Get out of your comfort zone and on the path to adventure. When you choose this path, you will feel really alive.
The journey stretches us and forces us upward to a new level of competence. When we choose growth, we choose to accept the challenge and become the best we can be.

Excellent post Fran, Thank You:)
The 3 Questions by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross provides an essential compass.
Thanks, Kaju. Comment appreciated.
Did you look at the Inian Islands blog? Since I had to harass you yet again for picture installation instructions, you ought to look at the pictures I put on there.
This is one of those posts that deserves to be read more than once, indeed many time times. So many salient points worth remembering. Your reference to only being able to focus on one thought at a time is a lesser known fact about our brain. Once you understand this, the ability to swap out the negative becomes so much easier.
Our bodies thrive when we are happy and are open to attack from the 'bad stuff' when not. Stress creates an acidic environment.
Like attracts like and positive thoughts act as an emitter or beacon. When you break it down, everything vibrates. The naysayers will try to dismiss the idea but alas it's fact.
Thanks, Twack. I do think perhaps I tried to fit too many ideas in that one little post, but people seem to be enjoying it...must be okay. Appreciate your comment.
You know me Fran, the more the merrier and if you can get them all to tie in nicely (as you have done) so much the better.
Oh Fran it is like you went inside my mind and wrote about all I was thinking about yesterday. I was listening to an audio book, whilst driving to and from work, and it was talking about Ego and spirit.
I choose to listen to my spirit, let the adventure begin!
Much love for this great post : )

This is beautiful Fran. We can do all of that here at WA as well as in the rest of our lives.
Those are great points to follow. It is nice to get out of our comfort zones and do something new and challenging by building our own business. It is great to help others here and feel the support of others when they help and encourage us.
Glad you liked it Jessica. Guess I'm here with you all for the long haul. There isn't a more positive place to be.
That's right!
