I don't see where I am supposed to input the API key. Help please!

In case this helps someone else, my problem was apparently due to a plugin I had installed. In order to get around this blank screen elsewhere on my Dashboard (like to Add New Users), I had to deactivate all the plugins, edit what I needed, then reactivate the plugins.

From WordPress Dashboard:
1/ Click on Plugins / OR / Click on Settings then Akismet - then skip to 3/
2/ Click on the green bar Activate Your Akismet Account
3/ You should see a similar page to the image attached
4/ Click in the box entitled Manually Enter An API Key
5/ Click on Use This Key

Thanks for responding. My problem is that my screen does not show these options regardless of whether I click on Settings or Plugins. Instead, I get a mostly blank screen with a search field that appears only partially in the frame, and I am unable to scroll over to see it. Note my screenshot above - it looks like that even when I am on the right menu. Any other ideas?

I've just created training for you, take a look and see if any of the other links help, if you're still stuck, deactivate the plugin if you can and then reactivate, if that doesn't work, then uninstall it and reinstall it and then also update it if necessary.

Check to also see that it's compatible with your WP Theme - let me know how you progress:

Thank for you for the added training and the follow! You are a gem. Unfortunately, I tried deactivating and reactivating, then uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin to no avail. I get the same strange screen. Does this mean the theme I have chosen is incompatible with Akismet? Is it something else? I have tried on both Firefox and Internet Explorer with no luck.

I have been a member for a few weeks now and am just now experiencing problems with all videos available on WA. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 - does this have anything to d

Okay, I answered my own question again. I should have tried searching the WA database with a few different keywords first! Apparently, my Internet Explorer no longer plays WA videos properly, but the same videos are playing just fine on Firefox. Ugh, computers.

This is the message I get when I try to play a video. Ack!

Why aren't the wa videos playing properly on my computer?

I think I just answered my own question! I found a plugin on WordPress called "Simple Image Widget" that was able to do what I wanted. Hope this helps someone else!

Hey there!

Not sure whether you were referring to Gravatar, or the plugin.

When I update my photos in Gravatar, I've never used the URL link; have always used the photo upload feature. I've attached a printscreen for your reference.

Hopefully, this helps?

Cheers

Hi, Paul! Thanks for your response. I guess I should have posted an image of the screen I am trying to figure out. Great idea! I have created a Gravatar, but I am not able to get any image to particular spot on my website. Anyone know how to get am image to upload correctly using the widget in the photo?
