Thinking of Doing Something Crazy
I started here with a golf site selling rangefinders, my site has gone up down, left right and everywhere inbetween...
I have been number one for many kw throughout the site....and all inbetween...my site seemed to be everywhere I looked for rangefinders....about 2000 visitors/mth....at one time...
Google slapped me....deindexed me.....I came back just as strong....slapped in a mth....out of the picture...still indexed but way back....I fought back....I again came back into play but in a much different manner...and that was ok..
.I know the mistakes I made and I corrected them.....I learned so much off of this site it is just crazy how much this site has taught me...
All along I made a few sales nothing to speak of, since I was getting good traffic for quite awhile I had the chance to see my CTR go to 15% up down from there I would say...thinking this was a decent CTR...No conversions
to change this around, I started tweaking my site, call to aciton, change design, in general a complete redesign in most areas...I asked a few folks and all seemed to think that the site looked good enough and had the right look.....
By this time my site is no longer everywhere on google but stilll there and can still find blogs articles and my main kw in around the first to three pages back...not great but ok....have added nothing in the last month or so....a few backlinks...directories...
I am getting about 100 or so a week now sometimes less, CTR has seemed to stay the same at times but n general is a bit on the low side as of late....yes we have passed the summer months.....this may pick up it may not....golf soon in many areas will be done as the snow flys...
I still do not sell many nothing in a long time now, so I have come to be ok with the plight of my site....the learning curve has been excellent with all the help I recieved...I learned so much....
So with taht said Christmas is coming......I am at the point where I am taking my knowledge and putting it towards other projects....giving me no real time to spend on what I see as a fruitless endeavour on adding material to this site....I have had the vistors and still get some now and still nothing....I went through the hot season for htis type of product without making enouogh salles to pay for hostgator hosting.....
Long winded I just wanted to give you a runj down of why I am thinking of doiing something a bit crazy and out of charactrer for to do....I want to buy somebacklinks....oh no say it is not so....but it is so...
I want to try to get some backlinks lesse expensive the better,....to see if his will raise my rank wiht a few keywords and perhaps enjoy some of the former traffic that I once revieved 2000?mth or more if possible...
I know it is Black Hat I know it is not sustainable.....I am not wanting it to be.....This is a last blast of a well learned site that overcame many obsatcles in its day....and in turn did what it was really supposed to do teach me.....and it did in spades...
So I am thinking this is a just farewell for my site one last chance to do it stuff as Christmas looms ever so close....
Any suggestions on where to go for these backlinks these days that may last for a month or so....
Any other suggestions, though of sellling....I kind like the blow it up method myself....???
Love to hear some thoughts on my crazy thoughts.....????

Hey Tim,
Cheap back links will probably not do your site any good whatsoever. Probably have a better chance to do more damage than good.
It is your decision though, and if you want cheap, go to fiverr. If you want something more quality, look around Warrior.
Why not build a blogspot blog, or a Hub and blast that with the cheap links? You wont run as much risk of getting your owns site squashed. Let me know what you decide and how it works out.

has never made money.....
I have no time to spend on it...
I have new projects on the go and have high hopes for them....I figure it is time to part ways with this site..
But Christmas is coming....I know the site will get slapped eventually.....
.but aren't you a bit interested in seeing how long it takes.....
how long will it take google to slapp it down can I time it for Christmas...my goal...
I think it is interesting enough for me to take a look and record my findings....make a good blogg or training on what not to do.....or new stratedgy stranger things have happened....who knows that is the point....I have a good thought of what will happen, but could be wrong.....?????
If you have some other suggestions, I am all ears....
Maybe it takes me up for a couple of months or maybe I never get out of the gate??????
As I do anything and get results I will blog it......

Well I have thought about it....I need to do something with it....as it sits it is just costing me money....I have no real time to spend with new content.....I have new projects that I am spending my time on....this site has never made money.....it did do a lot of teaching...and I a lot of learniing....no money.....
So that was my first thought was to blast it full of backlinks....and see what happens...in reality the site and hosting will be gone after Christmas...I am looking at getting easy, quick backlinks, for this site this is all Ihave the time for...so I have some time...to make a deffiinet plan....one way or the other this siste needs to swim or I let it go......
Any otherr thoughts what I should do with it...it can make a good experiment site.....I am putting it up on the chopiing block...teach till the end....:)

I have no time for this site....never made money.....other projects.....looking at it as an experiment.....not sure exactly what yet...but something is going to be done with it....a sacrificial site.....in the name of crazy knowledge....because it is there to do......Thanks Ty have something crazy in mind...this site should blow up real good....:)
