Hi, I have watched the basic tutorials on the differences between pages and posts, but I don't remember it mentioning comments. It seems that on my website, one cannot comment
There are 4 places to do this, see in my training. How to enable comments in WordPress pages If none works, change the theme, some are designed not to have comments in pages.
It depends on your theme. Some themes let you do this, some don't.
When in the WP editor, click on the screen options menu at the top and select 'comments'. Then look below the editor to see if there is an option to tick a box to allow comments.
If the theme doesn't enable it, you might find a plugin for it.
For example:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/no-page-comment/
But do check your theme first before adding an unnecessary plugin.

Is there a way to enable comments on a page?

Finally got it to work after viewing jvranges training. Had to use the "Quick Edit" button on the pages menu.

Would you like to share your Link, so we can see and take a look at?
It would help to see how much already you have done with your site. :)
Boy, its a bit scary to share... it isn't finished yet and I'm worried its too long... but here it is.

The way you have structured it looks good.
The reader can certainly follow your thoughts, meaning, it is engaging.
So far so good.
I know, it is still in the making and that's why you want help, so don't worry or feel scary, we are here to help each other.
1) Make sure to keep the paragraphs shorter.
2) Font size, preferably, is 14.
3) And find some great pictures to enhance your posts.
Media, not too much, though, is your friend.
I certainly do believe you are doing it well and you are on the right path.
It really doesn't matter how long, in word count, your post is. Just make the paragraphs shorter and use some media and of course, have some great content.
You readers will be hooked. :)
All the best to you.

Thanks for the feedback Sylvia! That is great advice. I'll make trim it down a bit and add some pictures. Do you think it is bad that I don't mention WA until the end?
Of course, not, it is up to you how you see it fit into your post.
TIP: I have a widget of WA on top of my Sidebar, so it is visible no matter which post or page is being viewed.
