What is it like after a break?

I have been away for a lot longer than I originally intended. Initially I was going to be off for about three months but that has turned into almost a year.

I took time off because I was about to go on a long reasonably long cruise for 30 days which of course is a long time in Internet marketing days. When I came back from the cruise I intended to restart work with WA in the New Year that is the beginning of January 2020. Of course once again life got in the way.

A lot of things happened in my life in the first two months of the year and then of course we had Corona virus. During this time I looked at a couple of other marketing opportunities knowing I still had WA to fall back on. Needless to say the opportunities I looked at were not sort of opportunities I would like to really get involved in.

So although I was working during this time on my online marketing business I did rather let my blogs suffer from a lack of new articles. This is not done them any good at all and so I am almost back to square one from that point of view.

One of the most important things with any blog or any type of marketing is consistency, something my blogs have suffered from in recent months.

Why am I telling you all this, well if you're thinking of taking a break this is the sort of thing you may come back to. I know for some of you that financial pressures will cause a break to be taken but even then you need to keep publishing to your blog(s).

I have taken a break but after my holiday it was no longer a rest in fact I probably worked harder trying to get new things up and running than I would have done if I had stayed with WA all the time. And I sorry? Yes and no. I have found some more opportunities that are not worth looking at and consequently have spent money unnecessarily.

Getting used to writing again has come reasonably easily, but sometimes I do wish I had kept the writing up all the time. Research has always been something that didn't come easy to me but I am back into the swing of again. As I continue with my work here I expect my rankings to start coming down although possibly not to ambassador again.

As I'm retired my time is my own and I can spend as much time as I like following through with my blogs and helping here on WA. We have such a rich community here, something I've not seen anywhere else on the Internet. So I would say to everybody here at WA to make use of the community we have. We have so many knowledgeable people on many different subjects who are willing to give you the time to improve yourself.

I'm looking forward to meeting many new friends and of course many of the friends I was in contact with originally.
