Are We All Happy
The person in the graphic is happy lying a field of Sunflowers and kicking their legs in the air.
For those of us hard at work at our computers happiness may show itself in different forms. Perhaps you were writing a blog and suddenly got the eureka moment that gave you many words to write.
Is happiness so important to us in WA?
I say yes it is and extremely important at that. When you are in a good and happy mood the writing comes more freely and the positivity usually comes through in your writing. If you are not in a happy mood there is a good chance your writing will suffer because of it. The less happy feeling, can allow the negativity to flow and this is sometimes also portrayed in your writing.
The easiest way to overcome this is to write when you are feeling happy. If you are not happy then do something else such as research for an article. Get yourself some new keywords listed ready for when your mood changes.
I am lucky in that I always find something else to do in those less happy moments and still be working on my blogs in the form of research. I can write up that research into a post when my mood has changed.
Keep the happiness flowing along with the words.

Hello Happy Derek and Hi to all the Happy WA´s! Happiness gives you everything, it gives you good Humor, it gives you Joy, it gives you Money, it gives you Health, it gives you Well-being. It makes you Laugh, it makes you enjoy Life, it gives you good Projects, it inspires you to "Write More Freely" as Derek says..
What else does it give to you?
Be HAPPY!
Hi Derek, I think your state of mind does get conveyed to your posts and comments.
Don't worry, be happy.
Michael
The answer is, write when you are happy or sad, but the former is not so easy in practice. Some song writers say they write their best when they are sad, but they usually write about sad situations!
It's strange how we can like sad songs but we want to read about happy things when there's no music!
Thanks Derek,
Best wishes, Rob
Thanks for the wonderful post. Happiness is really needed to keep us going and motivated.
Well wishes,
Azfar
Hello Derek,
Good Advice and I agree to a certain extent with what you say.
Writing blogs for my website is indeed easier when I am feeling happy and positive.
Sometimes though with my "other" job, I am so bone tired I can't think straight enough to write but I am still happy allbeit falling asleep over my dinner. :-))
I start to do some research but then I decide that I want to read a novel instead.
It is all a fine balance I believe.
I write poetry and some of my best poems have come from the influence of unhappiness and stressful situations.
all the best
Stay happy and let it flow...

Couldn't agree more. It explains a lot. Being happy, if we are not we might or should do a little reflecting and try to discover why.
If all else fails we should count or blessings. We all have many if we just think about it. That might be enough to bring back the happy.
Thank you for the comments Wayne.
