Things taking shape
So things are looking up a little. I have settled on a niche I love and can go some miles with. I have written a few articles do it is taking shape. The one I packed with keywords I researched on Jaxy just got indexed with Google, so that is encouraging. Still, it is miles down the listings. Another I wrote just because it made me laugh. As there are other good guide websites in my niche with all the technical info, I am giving in to my natural style which is humour and eccentricity. I think it is only flamboyance that is going to keep people reading and coming back.
Crumbs there is a lot of work to just put enough content in and sort the basic navigation to look anything like a professional website. My first sale looks a long way off (I really don't even have very many links yet) unless I resort to asking my friends to buy stuff in order not to get the three sales required by Amazon within their deadline!
The thought of missing the dealine is discouraging, as is the number of mistakes I find each night when I revisit the articles. I usually don't get started until 10pm so I am tired before I begin.
But anyhow, hopefully it will be in a fit state to ask members here to review fairly soon.
