Feeling like Goldilocks here
Hi All,
I have at length arrived in the vicinity, at least, of my niche. Thought I had found it several nights ago until I was thinking about my first post and realised it was all I might ever have to say on the subject! Oh dear. How to write multiple posts to build a whole website? And update it over time? -This niche is too small.
So I set to ways to broaden my subject, just a bit, but found myself back to the beginning, trying to write about related goods which in fact makes the whole thing too disparate. -Too big!
Will I ever find some middle path where I can set to work thinking 'This niche is juuuuust right.'?

When thinking about a niche, try to think about something you are passionate about.
Also think about maybe a product or hobbies or sport, or animal ou love and this may be a good niche choice

Thanks for your response. Yes it is a range of products I have in mind. I love them very much but they are very classic so I am not sure I could add much over time, if you understand what I mean. When I broaden it up it turns into a gift guide, which I suppose could work but there are some very good ones already out there...
I will get there in the end! I think I will start building content anyway and hopefully find my way. A bit like a University dissertation.

Ideas that cross my mind are
1) Differing fabrics. Where they come from in terms of source ie cotton, hemp, bamboo, silk.
2 ) Where / how / what are the materials / inks / that are used in the designs of the patterns on the fabrics.
3) History of fine design
4) Pioneers of fine design
5) Eco friendly, sustainability of end of life cycle of finely designed materials
