I have read training on this site and others, I have followed the instruction to a T and still I have a large yellow block instead of a google advertisement. This is after givi

Google owns adsense so if your site is worthy to promote their advertisers, you certainly will see something.

How much traffic are you getting on your website? Just from recording page impression Google knows how much traffic is available. So remember that the advertising protocols will put the ads where they are most likely to work.

If you have a lot of traffic and no ads.. then perhaps something is wrong. Do you have the code in your footer as opposed to the body of your pages? The footer will have more chances of a hit as well.

Perhaps the code is messed up, try a new one?

This thread may help as well

Thank you. At least now I understand the code is working and its google not sending me ads, appreciate that.
