Easy, feemo - just get yourself one of those software programs that can re-write and re-spin any article for you. Like they recommend doing for PLR articles. A few runs through that program and you'll make mince-meat out of any quote! They'll never know who said it! (Sorry - it disturbs me that I can put my name to an article I haven't written - goodness knows who has - and pass myself off as an expert!) :) george

I do not have experience with article rejection, but your situation sound like it should not be happening. Maybe Rich, Carson or Kyle can give you some guidance!

Keyword, Niche and Market Research

Hi, Kyle- Can you update us on your prior thoughts of Premium members having Jaaxy as the research tool instead of what we have here in WA now?

Jaaxy will not be part of WA. It is a completely different business with different operating costs/expenses. In saying this, as a Premium member you do get to leverage Jaaxy keyword data within the WA keyword tool and you have unlimited access to that. If you want something that is more sophisticated, Jaaxy is a definite option.

There have been several instances where we have acknowledged that Jaaxy will NOT be part of WA Premium.

I would not mind Jaaxy being free for use by WA members!! But then I love free things. It's free availbaility sure did not keep me from becoming a WA premium member though!!

I think in the context of the discussion that since they could not keep pace with the Keyword Tool and since it is basically the same engine as Jaaxy, that somehow they'd figure out a way to just have Jaaxy replace it.

I'm just following up on a statement Kyle made about a year ago. See below and check out the first sentence:

Kyle Premium about a year ago

Jaaxy will eventually be the primary tool within WA...hence the reason we are not going to be spending any more time and effort with managing multiple iterations of a keyword tool.

The WA keyword tool lacks, we know that...it utilizes the same data set as Jaaxy, however yes, Jaaxy is far superior and this is the reason we are going to be offering it within WA...we just have to work out some of the more finite details before we roll this out as it will require system integration along with some fundamental logic regarding people that are already paying and people are not (which we have already thought through in detail).

In the meantime, if you don't like the tool use Jaaxy. 30 free searches and you can earn more credits simply by referring people to get more searches. :)

haha that sounds pretty cool to me! Although Jaaxy is based on the same algos for finding keywords, it just gives you more stats.

Correct. that's part of the reason why Kyle mentioned that they would probably just moved to Jaaxy to WA for premium members.

Lol that would actually be annoying, I`d have to edit a whole bunch of content in my bootcamp site if they did.

Hmm, mixed feelings here to be honest. I reckon Jaaxy is a good item to promote alongside WA and you only need 2 signups a month to pay for your Jaaxy subscription.

But a lot of your potential signups would, I imagine, be from people who have already signed up to WA so by offering Jaaxy as part of the subscription here you would likely lose a lot of potential Jaaxy signups.

Personally I would prefer to see Jaaxy offered at a reduced rate of say 50% to WA members with perhaps a commission payout for members signing up to Jaaxy within WA who had originally signed to WA from your promotion.

In otherwords, say you sign up a new member to WA and get paid commission.
That member then signs up to Jaaxy at a 50% reduced rate through WA.
You get another commission payment because your WA member has signed up to Jaaxy.

On the other hand if it was free to WA members it's a great bonus to help promote WA membership.

Honestly lol WA doesn`t need any more selling points. I do like the idea of a discounted rate for members of WA though. Maybe it could even be integrated into the site like the keyword tool. Like you could save keyword lists, to do listx, rank tracking, etc. on your WA account. So much potential here! Imagine having keyword rank tracking analytics for you website(s) within your personal profile.

I know WA doesn't need more selling points but what I meant was Jaaxy is worth promoting as well as WA which means commission when you sign someone up to Jaaxy on top of the commission you get from WA.

A lot of WA members sign up to Jaaxy - I'm one of them - but you may lose a lot of potential commission if it was free to WA members, that's what I am getting at.

I hear ya. As a side note, namecheap has their own affiliate program eh? Another opportunity for promotion on your bootcamp site as everybody needs a domain at some point.

Good point. That's what I am going to do, keep adding more and more associated products.

Is it possible to bookmark or flag a WA page or blog for later reference?

I agree with every body that it would be nice. I do use bookmarks with a separate folder for WA.

I swear I was thinking the same for awhile now.. at the moment I bookmark with my browser

You know when I first joined in 2009 there was a bookmark feature and it was great. I have no idea why they decided to do away with it. It was just so much more convenient than having to use our browser or make folders or do searches. I guess we have the history feature now too.

@choppydo, @coolcity - I don't disagree with any of the approaches you mention. But, I just wondered if it were a nice, neat way to click a tick mark or button and the page or post would be stored for me within WA. Don't really want to jump thru to many hoops looking in other places or cluttering up my Favs or Bookmarks in my browsers. I know it used to be possible in WA, but I think it may have gotten removed. Thanks, guys! You're very helpful, that's why I follow you!

Thanks for the question feemo, and for the answers everyone. I would love to have a tab in my WA dashboard where I could save my fave stuff. Just my wish. ;-)

Guess we think alike . . about this, anyway! :-)

I do exactly the same as choppydo.

I use a gmail address specifically for WA and bookmark the threads I think may be useful later on. Bear in mind with gmail you can edit the title of the page you save and add a description too, so it's easy to find what you want. You can also file them into separate folders, for instance you might want to have a folder named blogs, one named lessons and so on.

Bingo. I've made separate folders in my yahoo mail so I don't lose what I may need later. I've saved all new lessons there to go back to once I finish all my certifications. I'm trying not to get distracted from the mission.......I do browse the blogs though before saving.

I`ve never really needed to when the search bar seems to work fine for finding a blog/page that I was at before. But ya just use your browsers bookmarks. With certification courses, you will have to remember what step you are on though.

I don't want to get things out of order or do anything unnecessary. Here's my siterubix site: http://you

The siterubix is a sub domain as soon as I became premium I started my training all over again and built up my own domain up and deleted the siterubix. It was a good thing for me to learn everything even better the second time through and it was quick. But that was just my choice. Good luck

I'm following a similar principle as Tommy, using the siterubix domain as a training base to learn and experiment while building a small affiliate site using a .com domain as my main live site.

I do have another much larger project in progress but this is how I am using WA. The more you practise, the easier and faster it is.

It depends on which one you plan on promoting. I see it here on the boards that people want to know how to transfer their siterubix over to their own domains. So in your case, why put up a lot of pages/posts when you're going to transfer them over later. Others like the fact that siterubix.com has a pretty decent page rank in Google and will only promote using their siterubix. Then there are others still who use both. I think it's a personal preference.

Tech, you know you invited this next question. Have you noticed which method seems to be more effective?

I haven't measured or compared. I only have one siterubix site at this point and added it only recently. I don't think it matters much though. Maybe siterubix will give you a slight advantage due to its PR rank in the beginning. But using the techniques we learn here at WA, your domain will start to rank over time.

I did on more than one page of my website. That is one way to get potential people to sign up and join WA and you get paid for it!

Thanks sidekick. Was your page siterubix at the time?

Yes it still is right now.

Thanks!

Sorry that I can't give an answer, but I've been wondering the same thing. I just finished the lesson on backlinking (Course 2, Lesson 9) but I feel like I still don't understand when the actual backlinking and/or WA promoting is supposed to begin...

Me I hit my dot com first then built it up

I appreciate it Tommy. I own a few domain names but just trying to progress in the best possible way.
