Which Class Are You?

Last Update: September 20, 2021

By This, You Shall Know

I want to share this analysis of Introvert versus Extroverts, as analyzed by a popular psychologist. I believe that most of us still wonder which personality category we are based on some mixed-up traits we all exhibit.

So let us briefly refresh our mind with this analysis provided by Marti Olsen Laney, Psy.D.

We know that an Extrovert personality tends to be talkative, while an Introvert is quiet, an Extrovert is known to be social,

While an Introvert is reserved,

An Extrovert is outgoing

while an Introvert is shy,

Extroverts are lively,

While Introverts are silent

There are still more traits, But now let us fast forward to certain ways we communicate, by paying attention to the following tendencies between the Extroverts versus Introverts communication, it is not a comprehensive list though.

The question is, Are you an Introvert Or Extrovert? Ok, let's find out

Introverts Pattern

  • Introverts keep energy, enthusiasm, and excitement to themselves and think only with those they know very well. Introverts hesitate before sharing personal information with others.
  • Need time to think before responding. Need time to reflect before reacting to outside events.
  • Prefer communicating one to -one.
  • Need to be drawn out or invited to speak, and may prefer written to verbal communication.
  • May occasionally think they told you something they didn’t. they are always going over things in their head). Contrasted with

The Extrovert’s communication pattern

  • Extroverts tend to share their energy, excitement, and enthusiasm with almost anyone in the vicinity.
  • Responds quickly to questions and outward events.
  • Share personal information easily
  • Communicate one to one or in groups with equal ease and enjoyment.
  • Think out loud, interacting with others, and, in the process, reach their conclusions. In addition, they often don’t give others a chance to speak and don’t always attach tremendous meaning to what they say.
  • Prefer face-to-face, oral communication over written communication.

This is it. I hope by now, that you must have picked one-two clue that tells you which personality class you belong to.

Enjoy it, and please share with us your comment.

I am definitely an extrovert most of the time, but I do have my introvert days too occasionally, Sarah!

Excellent share!

Jeff, thanks for sharing, I believe that you’re dominantly an Extrovert, and that’s perfectly ok. The idea is to enable us to understand ourselves better.
Thanks as always!

I am like a shuttle in the crypt! One time, I am an introvert, another time, I am an extrovert. My environment is the conditioner. When I am in an unfamiliar environment, I recoil into my shell but put me in familiar terrain, I can be a talkative guest!

Dads, you’re hilarious 😂 Maybe psychology is going to do a new study on your kind of traits. But I can assure you that you can thrive in every environment and with every personality.
Thanks so much for sharing!

I am highly introverted. With that being said, in the 'right' environment I'm an extroverted introvert. On the Myers-Briggs I'm an INFP.

I won't doubt you, Simone, maybe because of your wealth of knowledge, you oftentimes speak or write like an Extrovert, but will say that you have a good mixture of both traits. How about that? :-)

I was very much an introvert when I was young. I soon learned that it would get me nowhere in business life. Nowadays I call myself a forced extrovert. Jim
