Forget About The Past Mistakes

Last Update: August 03, 2021

Whatever the past Mistakes are, we are to learn from them and put them behind us. Put them behind you and move forward. There is no value in starring at the mistakes of the past longer than necessary. And this quote is relevant to the point I'm trying to make. It says "When you make a mistake, don't look back at it long. Take the reason for the thing into your mind and then look forward. Mistakes are lessons of wisdom. The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power." Hugh White.

And another good quote I want to share says, "The only use of a knowledge of the past is to equip us for the present. The present contains all that there is. It is holy grounds; for it is the past, and it is the future." Alfred North Whitehead.

I hope, we will be able to forgive ourselves for our mistakes, whatever they are, and at the same time learn to forgive others too.

Yes, we learn from our mistakes, but we shoudn't allow it to prevent us from moving on.
Thank you, Sara.

Thanks so much, Jeff. I'm glad that you got it. Words can heal and break us. We do all we can to make the best use of the present, while we hope for a better future, But as for the past, mistakes, and failures, we have to evict ourselves from the strongholds. Yes, we can!

I can't argue with my namesake. We have to understand what caused us to stumble and take that piece of learning forward so that we can grow and not repeat the same mistake again. Using a third party, keeping up with learning, scanning the environment and constantly evaluating will also help to mitigate errors.

Hugh, without a doubt, you and your namesake are authority voices, and the voice of reason, because you're the head honcho. I like how you always hit the nail right on the head.
As always, thanks for giving your Ambassodorial advice,
Have a blessed week!

Mistakes are repeated because we haven't learned rhe lesson.
We blame ourselves for not doing it well, right, when we needed or wanted to, yet we never remember to forgive ourselves for making a mistake.

We did the best we could with what we had at that time.

Hindsight is ego throwing guilt across your feet that you trip over.

Don't forget them, forgive them. They are lessons we remind ourselves with so we can circumvent the next one.

I better retire now, before I make more mistakes, because it's past 2:a.m CT.
