Good evening, I wanted to ask a question about the affiliate links:
If for example the HTML link is:
//ws-eu.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/MB40-34/...
And
Both links are identical, so I'm not sure what you are trying to explain here, therefore I am unable to answer your query. Could you please try explaining again?
Oh sorry, i meant it like as long as your associate id is in the link and the link works when i try it will i get a commission if someone buys through it or not?
If you remove your Associate ID from the link provided by Amazon, then no, you will not receive the commission, as they will not know that it was you who referred the customer to them.

What is the easiest way to convert html to url?

An HTML link is the same as a regular one, but it's coded into the website, so it has to be put in a different area (The HTML version of the page you want it on). I personally just keep it simple and use text links (a regular https://myaffiliatelink.com, no HTML whatsoever). Then I put it as a hyperlink into the words I want it to link to. For example:
I want to make the words "Click here" on my website link to my affiliate link, so I'll insert the affiliate link into those words using the hyperlink option in WordPress and it'll go there. Hope this makes sense Fatima.
