I am a person who absolutely HATES cardio, running, etc... and have been this way all my life. I started CrossFit about 3 weeks ago and since then, my strength and resilience has sky rocketed that I even started enjoying running :-) I'm seriously considering running a half marathon in Feb, so this is something that would interest me.
It's a great nice idea. Before you start working on your site, make a plan - be sure that you have what to write about and that you have something of value to offer your readers. Ie. 1. Training Involved in Running a Half Marathon 2. Beginner to Marathon Runner 3. Eating Habits for a Marathon Runner etc... Just some ideas on different topics you could focus on within your niche...

sounds good, maybe set yourself a big task like a full marathon or 40-50 miles, if you succeed people will be happy to see what you can do in that time, or if you fail your followers will relate to you and see you as genuine... win win!

That actually was my first goal, it looked too big and scary.

Cool, set yourself two goals then! half and full, or whatever you want. Also if you have time watch Elliot Hulse's magical method for success on youtube, it's a 5 minute video that I based my first comment on. I can't post links as im not premium
