Got the php update recommended message. how do I update php?
Hi there! How do I go about updating my PHP? Thanks!
This is something SiteSupport handles at the server level.
Is the PHP message affecting the running of your website. Site support updates the PHP on their servers and does it as a group according to a planned schedule. If the error is not affecting your site which site support says it will not, they will update all of the websites hosted on that server at once. If you wish to have the issue fixed immediately contact site support. You may not have access to your website for a day while they make the changes. We have a few like that now and it is not affecting our LIVE websites so are choosing to wait. .

Hi friends!
I built a site with a ".life" domain but then I bought the same domain name as a ".com"
How can I transfer ALL of the content to the new domain? Both ar
Thanks ladies! To my delight, the "Move" button took care of everything. So glad to have WA!
Go to Websites (on the left) then Site Manager. Under your existing website, you'll find a Move button. Contact Site Support if you need more help. Contact Site Support for Technical Issues With Your Website
Ewww this is a tricky one def talk to support first but you're going to want to save your existing site pages into a template and store that somewhere in a file on your pc. Worst case scenario copy/paste and save any text into a word doc and screen shot images to remember the layout.

It may be cached... Can you share the URL so I can see what I get? Also, go to Websites > Site Manager and turn off Site Sped (temporarily). Reload the page in your web browser and see if it now shows up properly.

I need to go in the opposite direction of most. I want to move one website from WA to Namecheap. I've moved a domain before, but never a website. How do I move all my content
A lot of hosting companies will provide a free website transfer when you sign up. Talk to one of their agents online or by phone. https://www.namecheap.com/support
Or...
If you are talking about transferring a Wordpress Website yourself:
Here are some (free/paid) plugins -
WordPress Duplicator
WordPress Move
BackupBuddy
WP Migrate DB Pro
myEASYbackup
UpdraftPlus
WP Clone by WP Academy
All-in-One WP Migration
These plugins work to import your website into the Wordpress install on your new hosting account. So you would have to go there and install Wordpress, then upload the plugin and import your Wordpress website.
If you are talking about domain name transfer:
If you want to transfer your domain to another company, the other company may ask for an authorization code (also known as EPP codes or transfer keys) to verify that you own the domain name. You can get this code from your current domain provider.
Once it is changed, you can set up the DNS. Just ask support to help you set this up if you have never done it before. I have had many accounts at Namecheap they are a good hosting company.
