Don't Stop!

Here's a share from some brightly colored cards from the board on the wall in front of me:

Don’t Allow Anything to STOP your Motivation

  • Believe in the reward (the ‘WHY’) of your goals. They are important, meaningful, and gripping.
  • Believe that you know how (clear strategies, plans, people) to achieve your goals.
  • Believe that you can execute the strategies and plans involved in achieving the goals.

Goals

Are They Specific?

Are They Measureable?

Do I Agree that They Are Realistic?

Are They Time-Based?

Banish Doubt

"Our doubts are like traitors and make us lose the good we might oft win by fearing to attempt" (William Shakespear)

A Very Old Quote

"Knowing Others is Intelligence

Knowing Yourself is True Wisdom

Mastering Others is Strength

Mastering Yourself is True Power"

(Lao Tzu)

What's on your wall?

Hope you have a wonderful day

Steve

The hardest person to convince is looking at us in the mirror

Thanks for sharing. Not quitting

Your'e very welcome. I'm always with you on not quitting. :-) S

It is essential to feel motivated thank you very much Steve!

Thanks, Claudio. There's always something to help with motivation. It starts with each of us. S

On my walls there are only cracks and old stains from past painting jobs. What does that mean? For me, it means that even when you’re at your lowest or not feeling good enough, you can always create something beautiful and meaningful out of outdated memories and feelings.

Yes, that's great Steeph. So, they never really become outdated, just updated!

That’s what it’s targeted at :)

Steve, we definitely need to have realistic goals as you pointed out!

Jeff

We do Jeff. I often start out with huge goals and then break them down into realistic chunks. If I don't hit the big one, I achieve some great smaller goals along the way.

Steve, no matter what, some progress is better than none at all!
