Hey Gang,

I was getting rid of some plugins that were not related to my WordPress Commenting system and now the only thing that shows for my comments area is a box to comment and a POST button.

I deactivated my Spam plugin, and the Post Button went to the bottom instead of the middle. Still no are to enter name or email.

I reviewed my Discussion Section and all the right boxes are checked.

I can't figure out what to do. Is it an issue with the theme? Anyone run into this before.

, Have you tried re-installing the plugins to see if it comes back if it does not try seeing if another theme will work

Yes on the theme, and the theme seemed to be the issue. Sadly I haven't heard from Mythemeshop about a fix and it's been 24 hours. So I'm going to try the plugins. If not, maybe another theme. Pain in the ###

Changed themes, the WP standard worked fine. I'll need to contact my theme.

Just a suggestion. Try one of the WordPress standard themes (Twenty Fifteen) and see if that makes a difference. Otherwise it could be a plugin issue, or related to the WordPress and plugin and theme updates.

Thanks Marion, the more I think about it, the more I think it's the theme. It has issues with WA hosting so I haven't updated it since I installed it, 1 year ago.

I also checked my plugins. I'm going to give it a go and see.

Todd,

I have never run into this issue before. I never had any plug ins installed related to commenting other than a spam protection, so unfortunately I am not able to help you on this one brother.

I hope that someone is able to help you get it sorted out, let me know when you get it fixed!
