Hi guys, I am struggling to remove the Meta, Archive and Search bar widgets from my site secondincomewithsid.com, even after disabling them they are still appearing. How do I delete them permanently to now show?

Hi Sid, I just installed your theme on my test website and I had no problem removing the Meta widget. I went to Appearance=> Widgets then clicked the little triangle on the Meta widget and then clicked on 'Delete' and it was gone. See http://thirdtest.siterubix.com/ (no Meta widget). ~Marion

In your dashboard, hover over appearance and click widgets. It should be under the sidebar panel (on the right), expand it and find meta or what you want to be gone. Expand that panel and then click delete. Hope that helps.

Hi, thanks. For some reason when I go there under the 'Sidebar' option, Meta and Archive don't appear there so I don't know if there is a problem with the theme itself.

I think all you have to do is drag and drop outside of the sidebar.

Unfortunately that did not work for some reason. It's becoming very frustrating for me.

OK, I assume you tried also with simple Remove command which you see when you open the widget.
Next, are you sure you are in right menu when you are removing it. Make sure that this is active menu, perhaps you have a few and removing form some other.

Yup I have gone through all of those, not sure why the issue is still there!

Do not have any idea left. But one is sure, it remembers previous configuration and does not take the new.
