I've struggled with contact forms on all of my websites. I can get a contact form posted on my website, but then I can't figure out how to access the information when someone does fill out the form.

I would think this would be easy by now, but I'm still struggling. Any help on this issue would be much appreciated.

Hi Cynthia
How are you creating your contact form? Is it a plugin?

I've tried Contact Form 7, and most recently WP forms.

Contact Form 7 worked for a month or so, and then stopped. I hadn't made any changes to my website or added any more plug-ins that would have interfered with it.

WP forms put out a nice contact form, but doesn't help me in how to get my messages left.

I use WPForms (free version) ... it automatically sends emails to my WP email address as specified in the WP dashboard under Settings / General.

I just looked at your site and couldn't find a contact form.

I tried WP Forms, yet I cannot find that option under Settings. 😕

This is all that shows under general.

Sorry ... my comment was ambiguous ...
but first ... on the screenshot you show, personally I click the box for GDPR which forces people filling out the form to give your permission to retain their details.

Now... by Settings I was referring to your WP Dashboard Settings.
Make sure your admin email address is filled out (remember to save!).

I have my e-mail address filled out, but I keep sending tests from my contact form, yet none come to my email.

There has to be something else I am missing, but I don't know what.

OK... what is your email address ... if I send a test email it might help to narrow the problem down.
