Hi,

I just want to get some ideas do people at some point stop using SiteContent totally to write their post and directly do it in WordPress instead?

The problem for me starting off in Site Content and then finishing off in Wordpress is that you have to publish the content, which means it’s live, before I’ve tidied it up at all, added images, links, etc. So presumably if I had a list of people who are notified when I’ve posted a page, if they are really keen they might get to see the page before it’s been prettified.

Or am I talking nonsense here?

Great question, one I’ve wondered about myself.

but you can do all that in sitecontent - adding links and images before publishing to your site
so you can publish your finished article- rather than a part complete one.

You can set your notifications to go out only certain days of the week.

What are you using to notify your subscribers?

the menu icons are there for links and images - so you may as well competely format your post in sitecontent...

Have you registered Google search console and Bing search console? You can see your page status very clear for improving if there is an error. Google indexing is your beginning. Good job. Keep up your journey and never give up. The WA platform has all the solutions for us.

Hi - Site Content has a spelling and grammar checker, and also you get notified when your posts are indexed. And it keeps track of the total number of words/posts published.

If you aren't interested in these features, then you may as well write directly in WordPress.

Hi Diane,
Do you happen to know whether there is a different way to know when our posts are indexed when we write directly in WordPress? Or there is none?

You can check in Google. Type site:mydomain.com (obviously replacing mydomain with your own). Any results it finds are indexed.
