I pplied to Share A Sale about 2 weeks ago. My application was declined. I emailed to ask why and got no reply. Now I see an affiliate program I want to join. It pays 25%. When I started to fill out the application it said to first get /a Share a Sale account.

ShareASale is an affiliate marketing network. Meaning, it manages many affiliate programs.

I never had a problem when I applied to ShareASale especially it is just basically a directory of affiliate programs.

Give it a week or so and apply again.

Just a heads up.

Even if they accept you in ShareASale, you might not still not be able to qualify for some of the affiliate programs found in ShareASale.

How many posts do you have on your site? You might need to fill it up a bit more before you'll be accepted.

I agree with Feochadan. Most of the time, getting declined does not mean that you will never get into the affiliate program. Most of the time, the reason for not getting accepted is because there isn’t enough content and visitors at this time on your website. Focus on posting content frequently. Give it another month or two and reapply. You should be good to go then.

I suggest a minimum of 30 posts on your website before applying.

General reasons why you get declined on affiliate programs is that your site is too young and/or there is not enough content in it. Posting frequency is another.

At the time I applied the site was just a raw shell. It's finished now but I only have a few posts so far. How many do you think I need?

20-30+ At least that's what it took me to finally start to get accepted by affiliate promotions
