I have been away from working on my websites for quite some time and have just realised that something funny has happened to my site comments and replies.

Above each comment and reply there is a line of text (above the gravatars)

Any idea what caused it and how I can fix it?

Here is the link to my site:

Thank you for reading and for any help in advance.

And have a good weekend!

Have you updated to the latest WP Plugin? If you have, I think you need to tick on each page that the comments are allowed to be made. It's been changed now, comments are not automatically seen.

If you want comments to be visible you have to enable it on each page, if you click on Quick Edit you should find it quicker and laboriously do each page and post.

I'm not sure if that is what is causing the line of code - but it's worth testing.

Hi Edu, I have the latest Wp version.
The comments show up fine but the problem is the line of text that appeared above the Comments/Replies section.
I have no idea how to get rid of them.
Do you think it might be related to the Akismet bug that you just blogged about and if so, whom can I ask or should I ask the WA community again about how to fix it?
Thank you for helping.

Yes, it might be, as that was the area where the bug was - specifically in the comments section.

If you don't come right, delete Akismet and use the WP-SpamShield plugin.

Hi suetay. If you haven't already, switch to the 'text' tab in the WordPress editor. That will show you exactly what is going on. Did you make any recent changes?

Hi electrobot, I have not been working on my websites for over a month now.
I didn't notice the problem until someone alerted me about it.
Prior to that, I had installed some new plugins but I have tried deactivating them and it didn't solve the problem.
