I just bought it and have installed it for a test site. The font is about 2-3 times larger than my original twenty seventeen version. I cannot use my photo for a full width of the post header, only a relatively tiny centered photo. This is just a start. I am anticipating from my brief efforts at "customizing" my theme that it will be a major effort to cram my website into the theme. Any advice?

The suggestion to disable my plugins and enable them one by one actually was not useful as I had not even activated the plugins on my test site.

I informed Studiopress and they came back with adding a new user to my site to help and an instructional video telling me how to do it. This does not look simple. I am not interested in that level of intimacy with them and it looks like the start of a long process that I do not want. What I want is a theme that easily works and go on from there.

Is it reasonable to add a new user? It seems like too much to me.

Thanks.

Now I would agree with Trish on this, I had Studio Press and had the same issues, so I came away and chose another much better theme, which I use on my blog and have no problems with it

StudiioPress was also recently acquired by WP Engine as well.

Thanks for that.

My font problem reappeared. Studiopress says for me to disable all my plugins and see if that solves it, then enable them one by one. I'll try that and if that doesn't work, I'll probably go with the refund option that you and Trish suggest.

Hey Joe,

If you are not fully satisfied, you can ask the developer/seller for a full refund. If you paid using PayPal and have any issues receiving a refund, PayPal will step in.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks. I'll tinker for a while and see if I can get any better results.

I am definitely interested in knowing all the concerns and issues with creating your website. I am meeting up with a very ‘Website Savvy’ friend in a day to help expedite this start up process of the creation of my website, I am not the techy type!!!

I have continued to play around with my test site and have found that the font being too large seems to be an idiosyncrasy and new test posts do not have that problem.
Thanks for your interest in my situation.
