I just bought it and have installed it for a test site. The font is about 2-3 times larger than my original twenty seventeen version. I cannot use my photo for a full width of the post header, only a relatively tiny centered photo. This is just a start. I am anticipating from my brief efforts at "customizing" my theme that it will be a major effort to cram my website into the theme. Any advice?

The suggestion to disable my plugins and enable them one by one actually was not useful as I had not even activated the plugins on my test site.
I informed Studiopress and they came back with adding a new user to my site to help and an instructional video telling me how to do it. This does not look simple. I am not interested in that level of intimacy with them and it looks like the start of a long process that I do not want. What I want is a theme that easily works and go on from there.
Is it reasonable to add a new user? It seems like too much to me.
Thanks.
